How steamy is it? Hot Damn

Publisher's Summary

Book two in the sexy new Manwhore series from the New York Times best-selling author of REAL. Getting this close to Chicago's hottest player can get a girl burned.

Billionaire playboy? Check.

Ruthless businessman? Check.

Absolutely sinful? Check.

Malcolm Saint was an assignment. A job. Any journalist would kill for access to this beautiful, difficult man, but I was the one sent to uncover Chicago's hottest entrepreneur. I intended to reveal him - to learn his thoughts, his secrets, his lifestyle - then complete my assignment and walk away. But my head was overtaken by my heart, and I fell for him - hard.

For a time this wicked playboy was mine. But they say all good things come to an end....

How can I prove to the man who trusts no one that I'm worthy of becoming his permanent plus one?

My Saint, my sin

I absolutely love this series, the depth of the characters, the tone and feel of the story all work to capture and enthral you.

Malcolm Saint is sex personified, dreamy, rich and powerful. Rachael is a female character that I love, shes strong, beautiful and intelligent, and most importantly she's not winey and annoying, like a lot of the characters these days.

Highly recommend this series.

Just as good as the 1st

The narrator did an excellent job with reading and interrupting this story and the characters.
The author did not waste a lot of time or words on BS...she told the story and did not get sidetracked with a bunch of side stories - I thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as the 1st

This book was Fabulously Hot! It is a must read or shall I say read! The narrator did an excellent job. Malcolm Saint can make a sinner out of me any day. Malcolm and Rachel will make your heart swoon and insides melt. Every Saint needs a Sinner. Go on choose this audible book you will not and, I stress will not be sorry you did!

Cliffhanger but wow! Worth the wait.

I really truly enjoyed this erotic novel that actually had a story line that made it interesting. Lots of hot sex scenes as the relationship ignites, and hits a dead halt at the end, where the protagonist must try and win back her lover after she betrays him and loses his trust.
I could not wait until Manwhore+1 came out and it was fabulous. See my review on that... stay tuned! Well done, Katy Evans!

even better than book 1

Glad we don't have to wait for book 3. Simple story, non complicated characters that shared their feelings easily enough, no psychological trauma in their past as in Fifty Shades. Overall an easy read although not a suspenseful love story. Not one you will say I wonder what will happen next. A bit predictable but still a nice read.

IT WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED & MUCH MUCH MORE

Before I started this book I just HAD to go back and re-live the firsts..... the rushed first meeting, the first sizzling glance, the first sexual encounter, the first girlfriend for Saint and, of course, the first bitter betrayal and once again I fell hopelessly in love with Malcolm Saint. So it whetted my appetite for this, the next step, in their conflicted, bittersweet yet beautiful relationship and oh boy it didn't disappoint.

The heartbreak, the torment, the pain and the hurt came across so well and, yet again, Malcolm's reformed Playboy personality was breathtaking as he slowly learnt to trust Rachel again. And I wasn't disappointed when their tentative first steps back into a relationship rebuilt bridges which eventually led to forgiveness, absolution and love.

Worth a credit? Everything was awesome.... the writing, the story, the characters, the pace, the build-up, the sex scenes, the romance and that beautiful HEA of an ending. Very very very creditworthy.

Even better than the first book in the series

Discovering what love really is sometimes takes a while, and some may never figure it out. Malcolm and Rachel are perfect together! The narrator did a good job, there were just times she was reading without the feeling I desire to hear with narration.

Duped

The 1st book I had a hard time getting through. The last 2 chapters had me thinking maybe it would be decent after all, and nope just the same thing for 8 more hours. Don’t waste your money!

Too much description

I loved the first one! However I felt like this one was too bogged down with describing the couch, the elevator, the car interior, etc
I will continue to read this author I just think she became a little carried away.

Dibs Dibs Dibs

My heart hurt for these two, so much, but my wonderful Saint went above and beyond as the perfect book boyfriend, I mean perfect, I just loved him, more in this book than the first, and even though Rachel messed up, he appears to forgive her. I couldn't love him anymore than I do now, doing everything in his power to protect Rachel, even though their relationship is finished. Thankfully Rachel steps up and finally makes things right. I love all the supporting characters and I'm so looking forward to reading their stories. Another winner for me, definitely delving in to the grand finale, Ms Manwhore here I come.

'50 Shades of Grey' without the bondage

A very similar story line to '50 Shades'.
Still a very good book - not quite as good as Manwhore as it started to become a little samey a bit of over kill on the green eyes.
I think I may have tired of the narrators voice over, although very good, I was irritated that Rachel posed every comment as a sort of exclamation so I started to become irritated with the character.
Malcolm Saint though is one of my new crushes.

My Fav Novel for 2015! <3

What did you like most about Manwhore +1?

It is a wonderful continuation of Manwhore. Love how the story ended. Just wished they added a male narrator as well. :D

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YEP! I read it in one sitting :)

Saint or sinner this is one hell of a sequel

Rachel and Malcolm's story continues and I hung on Every word until it was finished. Grace Grant does an outstanding job as narrator but then she always does, in my opinion one of the best on audible. I'm waiting for the next instalment like an impatient child, with the swinging legs and the jumping up and down .
