Publisher's Summary

According to the Vedic tradition, the term "abundance" applies to every dimension of our lives, from material wealth to spiritual sustenance and growth. With Mantra Meditation for Creating Abundance, you are invited to engage the practice of sacred sound to invite positive changes in your finances, your career, your creative pursuits, and your search for inner wisdom. Mantras, teaches Thomas Ashley-Farrand, are highly evolved sound formulas first developed in ancient India, which can influence the subtle energies both around us and within us. Now, with a leading teacher of the tradition, you will learn to use 20 classic mantras created specifically to remove hidden obstacles and open the doorways to more materially and spiritually favorable conditions. These sacred sound chants require only a few minutes per session. Try them for 40 days - the traditional amount of time required to achieve their desired effects - and be prepared to observe the beneficial changes that lie ahead! Complete with printed reference guide.

Love it!

These mantras are perfect for beginners. The speed and the pronunciation are a must and Thomas Ashkey-Farrand did just that as an introduction to mantras and meditation.

Unbelievably powerful!

Thomas Ashley-Farrand always exceeds one's expectations. The extra strota alone are more than worthy of the price

inconsistencies

Some of the mantra repetitions are counted incorrectly. In one instance when he says "We'll be chanting this mantra 108 times" it's actually only 51 times. I have another audio Mantra book by this author and was disappointed to find that much of this book was 'copy and pasted' recordings from the other book.

Beautiful and powerful!

I absolutely loved this audiobook however I wish there was an actual book or some form of print out material so that I be able to read the mantras so I know what he is saying and I would be able to chant on my own at a slower pace if need be.

Excellent explaining for beginners of contexts.

Great with the option of speeding or slowing of audio. It makes it easier to follow along during the repetitions of the mantras. I was glad for explanations of inserted words added to the basic mamtras.

I am a believer. I have been using the technique and it's great. I like that he gives a sample of the chants.

Interested in Hindu Mantra systems?

Mantra means a tool created in mind to improve mind by a system of repetitions and it is aimed to connect with higher energies which may be in Universe. This is an ancient Hindu Science practised since thousands of years. Repetitions of Mantra develops faith and than faith causes benifits. This book is not exhaustive in this science of Hindus, but it does introduce the system with good demonstrations and examples.- Haresh A Raichura

Excellent content some flaws in presentation

Would you listen to Mantra Meditation for Creating Abundance again? Why?

Yes I would but navigating the sections in audible is frustrating. How Farrand structured the audio. The examples on occasion were rushed unnecessarily. Remember some are new to Mantra and speeding through is not helpful and when you say 108 it should be 108 reps recorded.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mantra Meditation for Creating Abundance?

When the author speeds through 108 reps, like adding a couple minutes to the section would hurt.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

See above suggestions. Better presentation sequence and the last ritual should have had explanations before and then a complete recitation without comment. And on the final 108 Lakshmi mantra it didn't go the whole 108.

Any additional comments?

Don't get me wrong this audio is worth listening to, but I did find the above frustrating.
