Super Fantastic
Thomas Ashley-Farrand is fantastic and knows everything about Mantras. This CD is rather like and introduction to Healing Mantras. He will cover the sounds on how to say the mantras. The CD actually has a book that comes with it. Perhaps that would be useful here, because this like a foreign language. He has a 6 CD set that goes in depth into the history behind the meanings of the sounds behind Mantras. It would be great if Audible carried his full series. But this is a great beginning start to get to know Thomas Ashley-Farrand and Mantras. He is really a fantastic teacher.

I have heard mantras many times and I even have some apps on my Galaxy note 2 but they were never explained nor done syllable by syllable. This audio is better than the book as you can listen to the mantra sung to you.
I book marked and noted each mantra so I can easily refer back to what each mantra is for and more importantly I can listen to it anytime I like. I even took notes and have saved to my computer each mantra and its meaning. Beautifully done and a must for the beginner and for the curious as to what a mantra is and why it is done.

PDF IS UNDER "CHAPTERS" SECTION, ABOVE CHAPTER 1.
Excellent resource from a truly accomplished practitioner of mantra yoga! It is worth doing a few minutes of research on the author; he is famous all over India for his skill, accomplishment, correct pronunciation, and ability to read complex Sanskrit swiftly and accurately. He's the real deal.

It’s only the mantras - not the book
I’m really frustrated I bought this. It’s looks like it’s the book but it’s not- it’s just the pronunciation of the mantras. I bought it because I don’t have a ton of time to read the book and wanted to listen while driving.

Just okay
This book offers no explanation of the meaning of the mantras and by simply repeating the mantras without understanding them; one surely becomes a very good parrot. Hey, parrots are lovely!
