its good.

very well done, and i enjoyed it.
high marks, but as a audiobook listener i have sone critiques.
On the masculine preformer there is a shrill on 'sh' sound that is just jarring enough to pause attention.
And for the feminine vo most of the time it sounds like they are only reading the lines they are needed for, those line come off flat, personality is there for the character but its words without tonal context 80 percent of the time.
still loved this read, did not subtract fron the rating.

amazing but minor issue

The story wonderfully done i love the story and the narrators work.DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR MY USELESS COMMENT ABOUT THIS GREAT BOOK. there are a few times that I can hear clicking like the pressing on a mechanical keyboard at areas where there are minor pause it didn't bug me enough to not enjoy the book but because I know it is there I will not reread these after new releases of future books(when a new book comes out I almost always reread the entire series before I start the new one just to make sure I don't miss any small important details)

Better than Book1

It found the end of book 1 to be a little convoluted.

Book 2, while not as good as the early part of book 1, was consistently good throughout.

A decencent book 2.

The story was good, but there were times the audio picked up the narrators actions. they were few and far between, but better editing is needes.

Better than the First Book

I always worry about the second book in a series it is usually a let down. Fortunately for me this book was even better than the first. The characters for flushed out to a greater degree, and new characters were introduced as a natural progression rather than being forced. The plot was as good or better than the first book as well. I highly recommend this sequel.

Great second book

The story continues from the first book with relative ease without having to get into detailed explanations and long drawn out specific of each character. The author focused on the continuing the story which was fantastic. I can’t what for the next book. Narration was good but I feel like the female voices could be a little bit more distinct.

Idiotic and chauvinistic MC

MC is jus a chauvinistic idiot that doesn't Listen to anyone and just plows ahead. The author literally uses the power of luck as a reason as plot armor. We all know that plot armor is a given in these types of stories but it annoys me that the only reason this guy gets anywhere is luck and being a slightly better guy the everyone else.

A great sequel

This was a great sequel, my love for this series only grew. I can't wait to jump into book 3, I do still have some complaints, but I also have alot of good stuff to talk about.
I liked the progression, especially in the last couple hours of the book, but he basically didn't learn any new spells. I wanted more diversity in his skillset, we did get a little bit of that but not enough in my opinion. Other than that I don't have any complaints.

Christian and hazels performance just got better, they're such a good duo. I really like them, and I know they'll bring more to the table in book 3, I rate the narration a 5 star.

I feel like alot of the stuff I liked in book 1 just got better in book 2, I felt like the characters got more depth and I personally just felt a connection with them. The plot for sure got better, and I really can't wait to see how it plays out in book 3. The world building also got better, this 2nd book really opened up an entire new world to us readers. This book also had its fair share of action in it, I mentioned this in my last review but it is just so cool listening to a mc who can wield a badass sword like a badass!.

I really liked this sequel, and I'll for sure be hearing book 3.

Good story

Good story little to much “spice” at the end in my opinion. But nice direction in the overall story. The dual narrators are better in this one then the last book. Felt a little more in sync with the story and volume.

Good balance

Everything I liked in the first book is still present so don't hesitate if the first one was to your liking. A cultivation story with decent morals is hard to find.

What can you say?

A very good continuation of a good storyline. The author continues to develop the characters and expand the storyline. At times you just want to say "Kick their butt!" Then you sit there and think "You lucky thing" as the author paints a vivid picture of what is happening.
I eagerly awaited the next book.
I would like to commend the narrators as they bring the story to life. With the amount of characters it becomes a massive task to accomplish. Yet they make it seem easy. Well done and look forward to more stories by you.
Well done Bruce 5*****

Good addition

This is a good addition that left me wanting more with great progression for our MC and his growing harem. The voices were great and diverse. Overall 15/15 can’t wait for the next one
