Publisher's summary

From the best-selling author of the Cambria Clyne Mystery Series, rated "hilarious" by Huffington Post, comes a new laugh-out-loud cozy mystery with a paranormal twist....

My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.

Well, I see one dead person. Willie MacIntosh, a 90-something-year-old multi-millionaire, who looks 30, has a demanding personality and a strong opinion on my wardrobe and my love life, and wants to know how he died.

The problem is, there were a lot of people who wanted Willie MacIntosh dead, and it's my job to figure out who the killer is. At least, I think it's my job. This whole medium gig is new to me. What I do know for sure is that digging around in a dead stranger's life, especially when there's a multi-million dollar inheritance on the line, is a dangerous business.

If I'm not careful, the next dead person will be me.

Excellent start to a new series

Erin Huss has crafted an excellent start to a new series. Zoe Lane is an excellent protagonist who grabbed me from the first paragraph. Emily Wilson gave an excellent performance. This is the first time I’ve read/listened to thus excellent pair. I was so impressed with both of these ladies that I purchased the second in this series. I hope the rest of this series becomes available on Audible.

Fun and so well read

Not my usual read. I mostly like my mysteries with more blood and violence. But, this one had me laughing at times. Excellent voices that make it easy to picture each person in the mind’s eye.

Funny and well written

Great book! Funny, great mystery, the kind that is so hard to figure out it’s almost frustrating and you have to keep listening. Wonderful narration!

Making a Medium

I don’t usually choose a book about the paranormal but was intrigued by this one b/c of the reviews & the stated humor by reviewers. At first I thought I made the wrong decision when purchasing this one as the protagonist is a 23 year old who acted more like an early teen. But I tried to listen for a bit longer & became more connected to the story. Yes, there is humor & mystery & murder & so much more to this tale that finally won me over. I’ll definitely be checking out more that this series has to offer!
