Publisher's Summary

You can’t fly without falling, so close your eyes and let go.

People ask me if I’m human. If I have feelings. If I’ve ever loved anyone. I’m the lawyer who has never lost a case because I have nothing else to live for.

Until Jonah.

He’s my complete opposite: a reckless boy 12 years younger than me, made of sunshine and wicked smiles, pure and breathtaking.

It all starts with a secret. He wants to find out if he’s bi, and he begs me to teach him because we’ll never see each other again.

Until he shows up on my doorstep with nowhere else to go. I can’t draw lines faster than we blur them. He’s the unstoppable force; I’m the immovable object. When we collide, things get filthy. Complicated.

More beautiful than I ever could have imagined.

He’s the only person ever to learn the truth: I’ve always been human. I’ve always had feelings. I’ve been so, so afraid to lose.

Because the moment we find enough trust to jump is the moment we realize our wings might be too broken to fly.

A heartfelt, emotional story of two lonely souls searching for meaning, featuring a bi awakening, grumpy/sunshine opposites attract, an age gap, and a main character with a disability.

The books in this series take place in the same universe and have recurring characters, but each book is a stand-alone that can be listened to separately or in any order!

so sweet, yet heartbreaking. my favorite (so far)

As if I thought the series couldn't get better than the first. ugh. I couldn't get enough of this sweet couple. heartbreaking and sweet. The way they cling to each other even when they feel as if they shouldn't is adorable. The way Nash handles the situation of Jonah dealing with his secret of whether he is bisexual or not was sweet and raw. I could read their story over and over again. And that ending....oh my god. I won't spoil it for you, but oh my....so adorable. I need more of this adorable couple in my life.

Good stuff

I really enjoyed this story. Jonah and Gray were both broken characters for very different reasons. It was great to see how they complemented each other to find their HEA.

Warm, poignant, & hot romance. Gorgeous narration

This is the best M/M romance I have ever read. It is also my new favorite contemporary romance. The narrators are absolutely superb. The characters feel so real. The writing is eloquent with witty and natural dialogue. I was transfixed with the beauty of the writing, and I am in awe of the author’s ability to make these two flawed, lovable men come to life. The character development of Grey and Jonah is outstanding. The bedroom scenes are very steamy but don't overshadow the couple’s slow, cautious tumble into love. Jonah is 22 years old and Grey is 34. Jonah is a cheerful, outdoorsy, outgoing young man starting at law school. Grey is a lonely, self-isolated but outwardly successful and gorgeous lawyer. They are both such good, compassionate people and very memorable characters.

The narrators Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair were incredible. They both gave perfect performances in this dual narration (they perform different chapters). I have never heard of these two narrators, but I am definitely going to look for their other work. Each of their voices were beautiful, emotive, sexy, and extraordinary.

I absolutely love this realistic, very romantic story, and I plan to listen to it again soon. I highly recommend it to all fans of M/M romance. “Make Me Fall” is book #2 in a series but can be read as a standalone. I was fine reading it without reading book #1, which was about Grey’s friend.

I requested and received a free audiocode, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review. #PFPAudio #TheFlockonTour #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlockVIPReviewTeam

The Best And Brightest

This audiobook was without a doubt the most enjoyable and entertaining read I have had in a VERY long time. It hit all the standards that made me want this story to not end. The character development was outstanding, the performance and narratives were perfect, and the story was absolutely beautiful. Simply beautiful. I recommend this title with the highest possible amount of stars. This is the second audiobook of the series, and I found there are some interactions linking the first book, however, I believe that I could have understood this second title fully as a standalone read, or in reverse order. But I highly recommend reading the first book also as it is superbly written. Highest recommendation.

Perfect for Hurt-Comfort Fans

Your enjoyment of Make Me Fall relies on your love of the hurt-comfort genre, which I am not a fan of. Given this, your mileage may vary. In terms of steam, it is moderate and brief.

Excellent narration 🎧

Jonah and Gray, the unlikely couple who stole our hearts. With 13 years apart, Gray is the accompliced lawyer and Jonah the struggling collegestudent.

Jonah is energetic, hopeful, chaotic, sweet, caring and a bit naive.
He can be hard own himself and although I can relate to doubting yourself, I found him at times to be too self depriving. For someone who had piercings “down there” and not being sexual active, I found that he had a skew perspective on his own emotionsand worth with out it making you like him any less. You want him to get everything he ever wants after the he’s been through in life. Finding his person.

"I think I finally found my princess, Mom. He’s six and a half feet tall, grumpy as hell, and talks dirty as sin."

Gray we know some from Hold me Under and he continued to be a strong and asurded character but once you get to know him on a deeper level, you feel his pain and see all his cracks. Once again, yes… I love when the “weaker”younger person ends up being the stronger support for the “stronger” older person.

Are they perfect together, not sure but I defiantly loved them together.

“A melancholy part of me wonders whether Gray is in my dream right now or if I’m in his. Which one of us is going to wake up and realise none of this was ever real. I hope it’s me, because sometimes I think I’m a little bit stronger than him.”

Excellent narration 🎧⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An all-time favorite

I was already itching to do a reread of this one but getting to experience the beautiful love story of Jonah & Gray on audio just made it that much better. This book is so sweet, sexy, and just comforting. It is a swoony love story of two men finding exactly what they need in the other. And the narrators really brought this to the next level. I enjoyed both narrators but I particularly LOVED how Jonah was brought to life. He was just as vibrant and chaotic and wonderful as I was expecting and I found myself so entranced by him (once again… Jonah is a treasure).

“Perhaps we build shelter for each other out of the wreckage of all the things we most wanted someone to tell us.”

“If I could write a perfect moment, piece it together from all the dreams and regrets and unshed tears and quiet breaths of my life, it wouldn’t have come close to this feeling.”

This book made me giddy with happiness and reminded me of why I love reading romance. Utter perfection!

Awesome story and brilliant narration

This is one of those books that got me interested based on the blurb and then completely blew me away. Wow, this was unexpected!
Both the author and the two narrators were new to me. "Make Me Fall" is the second book in a series, but it can easily be read or listened to as a standalone.
The writing style is wonderful and I was very quickly into the story. It wasn't difficult at all and I must say that I was captivated from beginning to end and listened to the audiobook with only a few pauses. And now I am hooked and want to read or listen to more from both the author and the narrators.

Gray and Jonah are two completely different characters - from age, from background, from their personalities. While one has a sunny disposition, the other is rather grumpy. But together they harmonize perfectly, you can feel the extraordinary chemistry, sparks fly. Unfortunately, life isn't perfect and so each of them has their own struggles to fight. On the one hand, this makes the protagonists interesting, and on the other hand, it makes the story very varied and entertaining. I loved Jonah, he is strong, even if he doubts himself a lot, but he goes his way. And I enjoyed seeing Gray come out of his shell, even though he struggles with many things both professional and personal.
The secondary characters were also very interesting and I will definitely be getting the first volume in this series to find out their story.
I loved everything about this book, but Jonah and Gray's moments together were very special, whether they were talking, having different opinions, steamy scenes, or just being together. The book has everything I need for a good entertaining story that I will definitely listen to another time: Fascinating protagonists, lots of emotions, a great storyline and a unique chemistry between the two.

The audiobook was narrated by Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair, neither of whom I knew, but who did a brilliant job. It was easy to follow them both. They found the right voices for the protagonists, the pace was very comfortable and they narrated emotionally, bringing the book to life. An absolute entertaining listen!
Highly recommended!

My favourite from the series, flawless!!

Absolutely adore this series, I read the books a few months ago and decided to listen to the audio books and it's like a massive hug and so comforting. The way Riley builds complex and raw characters is like nothing I've seen before. Thank you writing stories that matter ❤

Absolutely enamored with this series!

If book one was the story that ripped your heart out, this book is the one that put the pieces back together (including the one under the oven *iykyk*)

In some books the characters really have to fight for each other/to be together and there’s tons of push/pull, and in others they just fit together so effortlessly well that you can’t remember a time where they weren’t together. This book is the perfect example of the latter and I loved it!

And the narration once again is spectacular, each voice actor is cast perfectly for their characters.

This is the best MM romance I’ve listened to in quite some time. There was just the right amount of angst , heart warming moments and Jonah made me laugh quite a lot. Grey & Jonas were just perfect and loved the ending so much it’s a book I will be listening to again.

Wonderful Story & Listen🎧 Engrossing & Emotional!

Riley Nash pens another amazing novel set in her “Water, Air, Earth, Fire” series, and I loved everything about it, from Nash’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines he created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. I also loved the complexity of these characters and the world building is fantastic. I adored Jonah Scott, a farm boy from Iowa, on his way to law school in New York, he appears carefree and happy-go-lucky, but he has a lot going on inside his head and he is still trying to figure it all out. He spills his secrets to his seatmate on the flight to New York, a nice-looking guy who was a little older than him who has his nose buried in a book. Telling him he thinks he may be bisexual, the guy more than entertains him, he gives him his first experience with a man, one he would not forget. Grey is an attorney who is on a mission to help those who need justice, he handled Victor Lang’s case and it was not an easy one, knowing what he went thru. Jonah was his mile high encounter, but that was not the last he would see him again, though he did not know it then. Jonah is a first year law student at Bennet H.Tyler School of Law and the two wind up in each other’s path once again. The emotions pour off the pages of this beautifully plotted, opposites attract romance and straight into your heart. The story is captivating from start to end and has the perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, heartfelt emotions, and some steamy romance. Riley Nash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair did a wonderful job bringing these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, and their performance of the two lead characters was perfection and was believable in every role they played. You could hear how much heart they put into work as they capture the character’s emotions and project them into their performance and have you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
