My heart

Wow … my heart…this was so much to absorb and it flew by. Narrators did well

Magnolia and BJ shows growth, hurt break, reality, and more. You see more growth in each character as they take you on a journey to become better and stronger individually but yet also together.

The story of magnolia and BJ is addictive, yet funny as magnolia comes with more jokes but now her character is just as good as her other friends. BJ is the man not jerk but more like a boy who is realizing there is more to life than sleeping around and being dump.

The book ends with 2 heartbreaking moments that will have you ask yourself how many heartbreaks can your heart take?

This is British Gossip Girl, so know you are in it for the vibes. Narrators are 🤌🤌

Magnolia is a spoiled entitled brat and needs actual therapy. BJ does, or attempts to do, the work in this book. Despite yourself, you root for them.

Great supporting cast. Julian is the hero and the better man. I said what I said.

Great continuation of the story!

Definitely enjoy the books in the narration is wonderful! Wish that there was a little less cat and mouse gaming in the story but overall it was good!

Beautifully Messy, But a Bit Much IMO

Magnolia Parks: The Long Way Home is an emotional rollercoaster. The writing continues to be lyrical and immersive, and Jessa Hastings absolutely nails the angst and vulnerability that define Magnolia and BJ’s relationship. If you’re already invested in their toxic, all-consuming love story, this book delivers more of the heartbreak and yearning you’ve come to expect.

That said, the on-again, off-again dynamic can start to feel repetitive and exhausting. There are moments where the drama feels so constant and repetitive, I was just hoping it would end. Still, the character depth and emotional stakes keep you hooked. It’s a flawed but captivating continuation of a very unique series.

Old habits die screaming

Man, coming from the rollercoaster of the last book you kind of feel ready to have your guard up and put up with the BS. This book is titled so accurately because man did it feel like a long road in the best way. Listen, nothingggggggg not even romance will be as satisfying as reading about karma man haha.This book was such a cathartic read. Nobody should live tic for tac but at the end of the day sometimes you’re just making the best choices you know how. I love books like these that have so much going on we can all relate to something about it and the way it makes you think on things or see things from their perspective will always be why I enjoy reading more intense books like these.

My safe place

Crazy thing to say, right? lol currently the bookish and audiobook communities are going THROUGH IT and I am ruined. I do mean that in the realest truest sense. I am grieving. Not just for my fav narrator, but for the community I thought we were. There has been so much ungliness. My safe place no longer feels safe. Enter this book. I started this before my world felt like it burned down and it held my hand when I needed one. These characters have been through a lot with me, and I with them. I might literally be lost without them. Thank you, Jessa, for giving me somewhere to feel safe... even if it sometimes makes me want to throw my phone 😉😘

Absolute perfection

The narrators make this story come alive and they are Magnolia & BJ! Try to change my mind.
Also - Jessa Hastings did us dirty for that ending. Still not over it and it’s been months.
