One of my new favorite series

I love this series so far. The MC is not your typical pussy footed dork. The story is deep and engaging. The world building is paced really well and the fantasy aspect is balanced and easy to fall into. looking forward to several more in this series hopefully.

Less Narration, More Dialogue

This was definitely the best of the three in the series. Even as this book went on, the story moved from more narration to more dialogue. It's like watching the author develop.
Additionally, the story began to really develop in this one. aLess developed connections were established, characters grew and changed. Honestly, the story could be left off there and feel good. But I'm also quite excited for the next book in the series.

The epilogue lol

The epilogue was the funniest thing I've listened to in a long while, had me 🤣.

Great Series and great book.

I really like this series, it really has me rooting for Davik and his Friends and lovers. The one thing I did not like though was how the Elf seem to take more of a back seat, and came off as weaker in this book, when my impression from the first two books is that she is a monster in her own right, something I feel has been pushed heavily to the side in this book. I would really like to see what she is actually capable of, either after or during her pregnancy. I feel the women mostly stand on their own, although I am missing some progression for the Orc as well, and I do feel the cook somewhat falls flat so to speak, but she is the only one of the 5 I could say I don't find interesting. Thing is that the Elf, the priest, the Drow and the Orc all have a clear place with Davik, but I kinda feel the cook does not belong... sorry, no matter how much you try to arm her with frying pans and other stuff, I would honestly say the Vampire is more interesting while the cook is just filling and just feels like she does not belong with what could become a devastating group based on their powers/skills...
I do hope we will be able to keep track of the development of the Squire and his lady though going forward, and having Davis' best friend added to the group was really refreshing as he finally has someone always on his side whom he can trust completely. The gnome also is a very cool character, especially with his implied relationship with the minotaur, 😂

good but....

too much information on the necromancer. some things drag on and on. there's about an hours worth that could be edited out. not much character development.
the spice is too little and too lack luster like the author doesn't know what to do with a real woman. like it's naughty for him write it. there virtually no character development with the other women, almost like the others don't exist.

Hope there is more!

Really great story with characters that are well thought out and interesting. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Satisfying

Just like the previous two books, we get a lot of satisfying moments between Dayvik and his harem, as well as seeing him putting the past to bed as he moves forward in his new life.
