Candice could read the newspaper and make it great

The tale is fun for anyone that likes real life adventure. For an old salt it raises so many 'if only's' so if you are past the six oh and are still dreaming this might raise the wish level. Of course I am biased as the heroine is Australian and thus adds that optimistic kink to the world but during the tale we hear about more than one passage, we hear about the passage into the real world, one that most will never ever experience because they think they can't.

This book really took me to another place. I loved hearing about all of their adventures. Now, wear can I sign up for sailing lessons?

An amazing travel memoir

A great story, which is brought to live by the narrator. A fast read, you can’t wait to find out what happens next. Highly recommend.

The narrator Absolutely brings this book to life!

Candice Moll, the narrator, is Exceptional- how did she do all the different accents so seamlessly?! The author, Torre DeRoche, tells her personal experience in an authentic way. She doesn't tell a very dramatic, Hollywood- exaggerated version of her experience. it's simple and personal. At once inspiring yet realistic, which, in an adventure story, is refreshing, since they often times can be highly romanticized and pretentious, whereas she's honest about, for example, how lonely it could be.

A romantic adventure for ocean lovers!

I loved this book! Coming from someone who has once had her own South American romance and who loves the ocean it was a perfect fit! It hooked me with its optimism and youthful approach to adventure. I appreciated how the protagonist is portrayed as someone who is fearful of the ocean and full of worry, then you watch her grow and gain experience and courage. Even through the sailing challenges and the absolute stupidity and stubbornness of Ivan at times, it made me appreciate the strength you gain traveling abroad with a loved one. It’s an easy, light, entertaining listen that’ll have you longing to be with them sailing the South Pacific!
