Publisher's summary

What’s drawn four damaged people back to Merle House? The answer could destroy them all in a gripping short story of the truths we bury and the lies we tell ourselves.

Matthew, Claire, Ian, and Mason haven’t set foot on the Merle family property since the summer they were sixteen. They tried for years to put their history behind them, to forget the mystery of the girl who vanished so long ago. But a powerful force from their past is still at play. This time, there’s no hiding from it.

Love the Way You Lie is part 4 of House of Crows, a four-part serial about friends with a shared history of darkness. They’ve spent their lives running, but they can no longer hide from the past. Each story can be read or listened to in a single haunted sitting.

Rollercoaster Ride

Excellent, didn't see the end coming until the end. This could be a HBO MOVIE

Would like in one book

Three of the four parts were good. I enjoyed the ending, thought it was a little drawn out.

Read as part of Book Tuber Naomi's Book Shelf 30/30 less than 100 challenge.

Great Series

Teeter tottering on supernatural and suspense, this series was fast paced and engaging! It did jump back and forth from past to present often and it wasn't the easiest to follow, but I did pick up on it after a moment. Other than that, fantastic listen. Narrators did well!

I'm also not entirely sure why it's broken up into four books when there were clearly cliffhangers and an unresolved storyline on the previous three books. I wish it would've been sold as one book.

Part 4 of a novel.

I don’t know why Audible formats this as 4 stories that don’t stand alone. It is a novel and the formatting is confusing. They should at least put the Part # in the title. The story is gripping. Some expressions and observations are repeated far too many times. The recording is miked differently which is distracting. All in all, Enjoyable.

All is Revealed

This was the last chapter in the House of Crows series. The four friends return to Merle House and Have wood and we learn what happened to several missing people. This series had a more psychological bent, hinting at the paranormal. I figured out the twist early on, so it wasn't as thrilling as I would've hoped. The audio cast was fantastic. Dean Koontz does this so much better. The Nameless series was far better than this.

Irritating form

Story was OK but confusingly broken up, jumping back and forth by time and character. But I HATED that this was broken up into four separate books. It's not even like the were stand alone stories. They even were presented as continuing chapters. Confusing to have more than one reader, too. Not anxious to read this author again.

Loved it

Wish there was more of a twist but I loved it over all. Started the series and finished it in one day.
