The story was beautifully crafted. Its positive theme was based on the strength and resourcefulness of a young woman, always a great lesson for girls of a certain vulnerable age.

So enjoyable, reader had a pleasant voice. Loved the story. Love Alice's work. Highly recommend

Pretty good

I liked the story line, and the setting descriptions. Pretty good short story, I kind of wish it had more.

Great performance

The narrator with dairy, very good, added to the story with her expresses performance. I could have listened to an entire book read by her.

wish it was a longer book

I enjoyed this so much that I wish it was a big full book. At 1st I was a little apprehensive and almost stopped listening because it was a bit sad and depressing, but then it got interesting and had a good moral.
