This was such a cute and cozy fall read. The small-town setting and pumpkin patch vibes gave it the perfect autumn feel. I enjoyed the story and it was an easy book to curl up with.

I didn’t give it 5 stars because it was a little predictable, and I wanted more spark between the characters. But overall, it was fun and put me in the fall mood.

A Love of the Fall Season

Victoria Walters’ small town romance is charming & cozy as it engulfs all the wonders the Fall season brings with it. The plot is set around a farm needing saving, beautiful Birchwood trees, pumpkins & a FMC determined to save her home. Walters makes sure to infuse strong determination in her female characters. And with all this, there is a sweet & charming romance in the book.

For me, the narration was split. O'Halloran's narrations of the female characters were good. There was plenty of inflection & voice changes to make the listener identify who the character was at the time. This was not the case with the narration of the male voices. Too many of the male characters sounded the same & they fell flat. Willow's dad did not sound like someone older. The only male voice I feel she performed well was that of Dylan.

There is a sense of intensity, determination & creativity in Willow that she is an easy character to be drawn too.

As her vision comes to life, Willow tries to understand Dylan. She believed he was there to take the farm, yet it seems he is actually helping her to make it a successful. Again Walters’ creates such as easily to love character despite everything. The romance between Willow & Dylan develops slowly but there is intensity behind it.

Despite the lack in some areas of the narration, the story is still good and I would recommend listening.

Sweet, Uplifting, and Full of Fall Charm

This book was the perfect cozy autumn escape. The small-town charm, fall vibes, and gentle romance made it feel like wrapping up in a warm blanket with a pumpkin latte in hand. It’s sweet, uplifting, and sprinkled with just the right touch of romance. A heartwarming seasonal read that left me smiling.
