Ashleigh Pence had been the all-American high school girl: cheerleader, prom queen...and in love with another girl. Gina Granbury hasn't thought about Calloway High in 20 years, but the arrival of the invitation to the class reunion brings back memories of Ashleigh and the betrayal that drove them apart.

With no real choice, Ashleigh has to go the event, hoping that it's not the one reunion that Gina decides to attend after all these years. Beautiful Love Story

I love how the story was written. I could truly feel the connection of Ashley and Gina. Just simply beautiful. Thank you Gerri Hill. Also, narration by Abby Craden was excellent. Love her voice.

The story was good ! But the narration added so much for me. I have listened a few times already and will keep on listening.

The heart knows

Ashleigh and Gina share a rare connection with each other. Gina’s insecurity however keeps them apart for 20 yrs. I love the flashbacks that tell their story. Great second chance love story with lots of heat.

loved it so much I listened to it twice. I have loved the narrator's voice since I heard it in March. Never been disappointed with Gerri Hill. #1fan. Off to my next Adventure.

A High School Reunion Second Chance Story

Story weaves between present day and high school and early college years. A marvelous high school romance that goes south in the first semester of college. Miscommunication leads to heartbreak. Great performance and author. Recommend.

Romance, story line, and real life. This story brings forth the emotions of being in school and in love for the first time. Through the years the sweet tale goes between present and past day keeping the emotional connection going and one feels like- this is my life....my heart...my soul. Well read and written ❤️

Small town, big news

Narrator always gives the story a fabulous read. Very soothing tones and easy to tell when different characters have taken the spotlight. Overall, sweet second chance romance. While the believability that one moment of misunderstanding could unravel love so quickly, remember, it’s a book and we need that second chance to count. So, enjoyed its predictability and HEA.

Came for the story, stayed for Abby Craden

Ready to sit with the frustration of adolescent insecurities and non-communication? They do get a HEA, but they sure mess things up before they get there. A tale of caution. A 'How to do non-open communication and let your insecurities keep you from a happy and healthy relationship'. Had it not been for Abby Craden's talent I don't think I would have finished. It's a very well written story, but if you're looking for a book hug, this is not likely to be it.
