Good but graphic

Kept me listening and was hard to put down; however, may trigger some with the very graphic violent parts. A good portrayal of the mindset in today’s society. Narrators did a great job with characters. Will look for more books written by this author and narrators.

I am so caught up in this family. Great story line can’t wait to hear about the other brothers.

The storyline

WOW!!! This is a must-read. I finished this book in one day. I was traveling when I started the book my flight was delayed twice I did not complain because I was so engrossed in this book.

It was a good story, I just really got annoyed with the homegirl/friend (forgot her name) she was extremely aggravating lol but overall the story was nice.

Damn. Damn. Damn . These Compton boys got me rethinking some things. I can't pick who is my favorite..At first I was all on Prime now it's the sons.

The Comptons stay applying pressure

I am so in love with this series! I wasn’t sure what to make of Laquay in the earlier installments, but BAYBEE he is that dude!

Performances by Anna Lynn and Tony were excellent - Tony’s voiceover style is a natural for urban romance, and he’s getting better with each listen. Anna Lynn did a great job distinguishing between characters and delivered the humor well.

Shvonne Latrice is a very talented writer. The pacing and character development in her stories is done well, and fans of urban romance will enjoy this one.

Daaaannnng lil prime

I'm 3 books in(technically 4 since I read this next one). I wasn't happy about the wait time but the story itself was great. I'm hoping to get a book on all of the brothers. I don't want to tell the story line but you will see that love / infatuation makes you crazy. You will see that the right man will go to bat for the right woman.

I liked Lequay in the Marriage Favor

I love to see he grew up. Seems very mature in book 1. As an adult I fell in love with his character he's so much like Prime. He's a true definition of a man & gangster.
