What happens when love comes into play and it has these four siblings struggling with what's right and wrong?

There's a fine line between upholding law and breaking it. Which side will they end up on?

At times it was confusing with all the characters, but it was a nice family affair.. just a regular story

I liked the book and use of characters from other books. unlike other reviewers, I thought the author did good and telling multiple people's stories without confusing us. There were a couple times that the scene transition was abrupt though. The narrator did good with all the characters and maintaining a flow but he had some weird breathing thing going on, like he was running out of breath and it made it sound like characters were shocked, out of breath, or had the hiccups. I wouldn't fire him over it but would ask him to work on that lol

Good Book

This book was boring. The narration was great but the story itself left a lot to be desired. There were too many characters and I kept getting confused on who was who and who was dating who and who was a sibling to who. It also seemed pointless, like it didn't have a plot. I was disappointed with the storyline.

Too much going on

I really enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I think the author did a great job with navigating how these families intertwined with one another. We got to witness several complicated love stories! I definitely recommend this one.

A family affair

This was an okay read. There wasn’t any suspense and the romance or “love” moved way too fast (I don’t like instalove). There were things I had questions about that weren’t answered and there were a lot of characters so much so that I was lost at parts of the story and had to go back. I wish there was way more suspense, especially since this story is about a black mafia family. The brothers in the mafia didn’t move me at all. I wasn’t expecting to see gory scenes or an exaggerated amount of crime and violence but there was nothing. No shady deals, no jaw dropping scenes, nothing. However, the writing is good even though the story fell flat for me! I would recommend this book. Someone may love what I didn’t like. Happy listening 🙂
