Amazing

I have been a fan of this series for years but was reluctant to get the audiobooks because I rarely enjoy listening to them - I find the voices don’t match the characters or the story. This is the exception.

Gary Furlong is amazing. He has made a great series even better. He has captured the voices and the tempo of the story through his narration. The voices he used for Nicholas and Benjamin brought an extra depth to the characters. The quality of his narration has made it equivalent to listening to a movie.

Just magical. He should win all the awards.

I walk every day and have been cycling through this series and am now on my fourth circuit through the audiobooks. The books themselves are worth the read but whether you’ve read them or not, I recommend getting the audiobooks.

Took a gamble on this, was rewarded with a well written, intriguing saga. Narrated brilliantly by Mr Furlong.

I can't say enough about how amazing this story is. The way Ben and Nik slowly find out about each other. By the end of this book, I'm already buying the next.
The narrator does a fabulous job making you fall into these characters.

Perfection! Narrator and great story

I have read a ton of MM but not this series. It’s been on my TBR forever. So glad I waited for Audio. Immediately headed into book two. Mysterious, hot, exciting and with a sense of self discovery. Love it!

Love is a stranger: what a great read! I loved the books, and the audio just made the experience better!

The book and the adventures, the emotional roller-coaster is thrilling in its own, but the voices made it more real for me. I liked listen into Nikolas and Ben's relationship, liked to go through (together with them) again all the changes they had to experience in order to make their relationship work.
I liked Nikolas' way of talking, the strange words he used (abhore, obtuse etc). As a non-native English speaker it is always amusing to see how rearly used words are we thought, and looked strange upon, when we accidentally speak them 🤣
So yeah, this is one of my favorite Audible titles.

Great story. Great narration.

What's better than one spy/special forces soldier in a story? Two. There are few things I enjoy more than a story filled with blood, sex, violence, a twisted plot, and spies. Decent writing and great narration are also at the top of the favorites list. All of the above will be found in this book.

I wanted to despise Nikolas. I just couldn't. His personal story is obviously going to be a primary source of what appears to be a multitude of intricate plot lines. With Ben's interesting history blended in, this will be a rollercoaster. I am so looking forward to weeks worth of beautifully narrated and extremely disturbing stories that read like a fictional version of a spy's guide to surviving the twenty first century. Sigh...

Tied for my favorite series of all time

Ben and Nikolas have an unusual start, and sometimes a rocky one. But, the scorching heat and chemistry between them transcends all the twists and turns of time. Both ex-military, their adventures and tribulations challenge them both to be their best (which sometimes means their worst). The author’s lengthy military background adds a touch of realism that isn’t often found in romance books. Having listened to this entire series more than once, I wish I could give it the ten stars it deserves. Gary Furlong is the perfect narrator, depicting each of their voices brilliantly. He also deserves ten stars.

Holy crap. This (audio)book blew my mind with how awesome it was. I LOVED IT SOOOOO HARD. The twists and turns. Not knowing what was going on. I wasn't completely sold on Nikolas. It took me a long time to warm up to him. I plan on listening to this book again very soon. Gary Furlong's narration was amazing. I love his voice.

To be continued

I'm torn. The story is left pretty much up in the air and ends on "To be continued in Conscious Decisions of the Heart" but part of the story feels "happy for now". I don't like undisclosed cliffhangers and unresolved plot lines.

Nikolas and Ben are engaging characters but a trigger warning would have been appropriate. There are some pretty brutal events that might be an issue for some readers.

The action scenes were exciting but the characters suffered serious injuries that they bounced back from too easily. I chalk it up to being fiction.

Gary Furlong did a good job performing the story and I didn't have any difficulty telling who was speaking.
