I almost skipped because of the female narrator

I almost skipped this amazing book because I can’t stand how Anna Lynn Wright over enunciates her ts. All that whistling drives me crazy. But Chance Smolders read a lot of it and the most important parts. He’s extremely talented. This is my first Ladii Nesha book but I saw that she has more books that I hope she brings to Audible. The plot, the character development, dialogue and banter was so well done. And the plot twists left me listening with my mouth hanging open. Marley pissed me off but her story was tragic. Caesar’s character development was amazing and learning about his childhood and his relationship with his mother explains a lot. I can’t wait to listen to more books within this book universe.

The best book I’ve read all year!

The story line was phenomenal. There was so many plot twists. I cried, laughed, was scared for Marley, happy, etc. I felt all the emotions and loved it so much!

Everything I needed

This was good! There was great character development and The plot was twisty. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The comedy was A1. I laughed a lot. The spice was on point and the narration wasn't bad either.
