Great listen but not thrilled about the 3rd person narration.

This was a great listen! Trei Taylor aka Lauryn Nichols is one of my favorite narrators. She did a phenomenal job as always. Midnite portrays rappers well in audio books. I usually try to avoid audio books with 3rd person narration, but this one didn't bother me as much as others; maybe because it had quite a bit of 1st person narration mixed in there as well. I love Aubree P!

Not just the Summer.. Life

Thoroughly enjoyed the narrators bringing one of my favorite books by Aubree Pynn to life. This story tugs at all the emotions. Lucci and Butterfly (Lotus) do not disappoint. 💙 Outstanding job Midnite Michael, and Lauryn Nichols!!

This storyline is true family, there's someone for ever one. When a man find the right woman he will change Daysha wàs a great person inside out .Her parents tired to make her someone she's not. I'm glad Julius was able to be them in their place with RESPECT,. Julius ask Her to teach him how to pray 🙏. She spoke life to his dead situations he's the the BLOODLINE that starts with change!!!
Butterfly and Julius love will be forever book 2 needs to come.great job Midnite ❤️ and Lauryn.

Awesome love story with some Hood

She did not back down. She was strength to him when he was weak. He also stood up to her fears.

For better or worse!

Julius “Jay Lucci” and Daysha Lotus aka Butterfly started out on vacation fulfilling their lust, serving as the release that the other desired and quickly found out they were the peace each other needed. Through disappointments, setbacks, betrayal and the demons of past traumas, these two stuck beside one another. They were for better or worse before an official commitment. Even when Daysha maybe should’ve faltered on purpose, she didn’t fold, and I give her mad props for it. I also had much respect for Lucci on how he fought back from adversity —that was admittedly devastating —to be the man he needed to be for himself and Lotus! The narrators narrated on this, LAURYN gave it all! AND Big Pynn did her BIG ONE with this story. GOLDEN MIC VIBES!

Easy summer read

interesting love story set in today's rap culture. The story features characters who are multfaceted and extremely relatable. Once I started listening to this story, I had a difficult time stopping.. Highly recommend

I was skeptical at first because I like for the narrators to narrate versus read the book to me.. however; I loved this book. Definitely worth the credit!!!!!

Absolutely a great love story

This story could and probably has happened to people in real life. You have to be real with yourself and life's reality. I loved how this book hit major topics that do go on in the black community.

The voice actors

The story was almost predictable but it was enjoyable as well I love how the character spoke life into her partner and that she was such a boss beautiful black excellent
