A good start to a new series

Rowan, our MC gets a chance to fulfill one of his dreams, becoming an adventurer. Having been left for dead in an alley only to be rescued by two traveling adventurers who bring him along and train him while traveling to their next destination.

Reaching their destination Rowan is given the option to try out the entry examination for the local Adventurer school.
Here, his new life and path to becoming a strong adventurer begins.

The school environment reminds me of Harry Potter and Mage Errant.

Very good narration by Pavi Proczko.
Looking forward to the next book.

An amazing up-and-coming serious and I can’t wait for the next book (by emerald)

Personally, this is the kind of story that I always want to look for. The author has a clear understanding of writing a fantasy novel, where the main character just doesn’t walk through everything having to handed to him he hast to fight, scratch and punch for every inch that he can get.
Too many stories, take a kid with no prior knowledge or experience and turn them into this prodigy, genius that sometimes has to work for stuff, but it’s so much fun to read a story where the main character Hass to truly work to learn, and earn everything that he is getting, and not be the strongest at the same time.  The story is fun and lighthearted well also being serious at points I highly recommend this to anyone who is into fantasy novels. I am eagerly looking for the next entry in this series because I can’t get enough of the amazing flavor this story gives off. 

Original story with Harry Potter vibes

Well, I liked most about this story was how the author focused on character growth giving the MC a second chance at life. This is not a reincarnation story, but a Second Chance story in a magical world.

overall this was a wonderful book the narrator was top of the line in the story without going into too many details was very solid not a lot of extreme turns or twists but it was an enjoyable book

overall a good start

I enjoyed this academy progression fantasy a good bit. it sets up a lot of things I hope to see in book 2 and hopefully really start to build on his magical prowess now that he's catching up to the others.

From the bottom to the top.

I think this is a strong underdog story that didn’t OP the main character at the beginning. I hope we get a continuation because I don’t want to stop listening.

This was a Treat!

This was a wonderful book really felt the Harry Potter vibe! Love how the author made the whole school experience similar to what we college kids feel like during midterms and finals lol. Can’t wait for the next book!

Wow, what a book

This book was amazing, the character arc was awesome. The characters weee soo well developed, I feel like I know them. Pack did a fantastic job on the performance as well.
