Good clean story, a little rushed on the narration
The story kept my interest and made me want to continue listening to this particular author. The narrator did a good job with voice inflections and intonation, but you always got the feeling that she was just a little rushed like she was just trying to get through a little faster and you wanted to slow her down a little.

I listened to this book straight through till the end. I couldn't stop. I really enjoy MARGARET DALEY'S BOOKS. SHE IS A GREAT AUTHOR. I ALSO LIKED THE NARRATOR, COLEEN MARLO. THE BOOK DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS!

On the edge of my seat!
This was a fast paced Christian romantic suspense story. It involves really bad men (any violence is off stage and described in a sanitized fashion). But the good guys are the best of the best: Texas Rangers and other Texas and Federal law enforcement. The bad guys don’t have a chance!!
I have to add (without any spoilers, but a bit of hubristic pride)! As a RN, I correctly diagnosed the condition of one of the characters (before the character went to the hospital)!

Really gripping story
Texas Ranger Drake finds a woman and a child stranded in the desert . The woman is badly injured and has lost her memory. As Drake and "Kay" work to figure out who she is, they face imminent danger. But they also find true love. Amazing story!

Not the author's best
Didn't enjoy the narrator. Probably just personal taste.
The story was just too much. Too wordy, too intense, too tiring, too long. I have usually enjoyed this author, but this book was like being caught in a never-ending battle to the death. At some point, I just wanted it to be over and done.
