Very Inspiring!

This book makes me want to be such a better wife and mother! I am planning to go back through with the yearly study book!

Enjoyable!

The Lifegiving Home is a must read for all parents, couples, singles, grandparents, or aunts and uncles as it touches on the importance of the spaces we create and the way we invest our time. I especially enjoyed the audiobook version! Some sections of the reading are slower than others but overall it was an enjoyable, insightful, and helpful title.

Great book

Recommend for every wife. Light book to listen to and learn from on how to make your house a home. Btw: don’t be hard on yourself, just create the own culture of your home.

Prepare to highlight!

I loved this book. It has quickly become one of my favorite books that I’ve ever read! I found I needed to physically highlight such a large number of lines that I found a physical copy and read along/highlighted while listening. I will be gifting many friends and family members with a copy of this inspirational book. I feel motivated and encouraged to go forward and create a lifegiving home. I’m glad I found this book when my children are young so I can instill in them many of the same traditions and memories that are listed in this book. Highly recommend!

Inspiring!

Was so inspired to create a home where discipleship and love are present, and where guests feel a breath of life as they walk through my door. Great narrarator, too!

inspired and inspiring

I have been hesitant to get this book, or the other 2 in the series, because of some reviews that said some not flattering things. I have loved other books by Sally, and finally decided to jump into this one. I was not disappointed. Even if I never read the rest of the book, Sarah's words in chapter 2 are an epiphany of sorts, and the book as a whole has been worth every moment I spent listening to it, and then some.
