Great Listen

I have always wanted to hear "the rest of the story" and this book really did not let me down. Betty June's narrative is very clear and keeps you easily listening. Thank you W. D. Crowder for a very informative book

Completely enjoyed and had me going into deeper.

Really good start to the life of the founders of the Christian Church. While I had fairly good knowledge of the lives of Peter and Paul, many of the others I did not. I really enjoyed this overview and found myself doing more independent study after.

i need the hardcopy for my study library

excellent resource text for those of us studies of new testament history and apostolic foundations.

Great stories, meh narrator

I really enjoyed the organization of the book and information presented within each section. I just wish they would have chosen a different narrator. Don’t get me wrong, I think that a fantasy or a YA novel would have been great for that individual. I just didn’t think it fit with this book.

Good overview of their lives

I was very curious to know what happened to the apostles. I wish a summary was included about the story of Paul even though he was not an original apostle
