YES YES YES!!! This is how you do a fake relationship the right way! I will admit I am over the fake relationship trope so I wasn't excited when I realized this was a fake relationship but I should have know better, I should have know Lauren Blakely would always know exactly what I needed. The way this "fake" relationship was written was perfect imho. I usually have issues with all of the lying that comes with faking it but it really works when they aren't lying to anyone that matters or to each other!
I LOVE LOVE LOVED the Vegas scene, it was fun and I felt all of the excitement of a new attraction and just genuinely liking some one new. I also have to mention that I also struggle with long distance but again Lauren did this PERFECTLY, I can't explain why without spoilers so I will just say that I really don't like when an MC expects the other MC to give up their dreams & career asperations just to be with them, I do love when they try to figure out a way that works for both of them and love it even more when each of them try to figure out what THEY can do to make it work instead of thinking about what the other one can do. (sorry if that was confusing, it's really hard to say what you want without details lol) Anyways as always Lauren writes relationships with maturity and leaves the drama at the door! I really liked both Hunter & Nate and loved the way they loved each other so much! Great Romance all around!

The narration was SPECTACULAR as always! Teddy & James have great chemistry when recording together and I love both of their work. I also loved the extra fun chat at the end with these two, it was hilarious but also showed just how talented they both are.

The book was hot hot hot. The bloopers got to be a little much at the end. I usually like the bloopers.

2 adult characters that actually communicated with each other.
I enjoyed how real these characters felt. Like you could imagine a world where these would people that you know. Nate is just getting back on the scene after a divorce and Hunter has just realized that he is bisexual and technically a "virgin" for being with men but wanting to figure it out. They meet in the cutest of ways and set out for a one night thing. But fate keeps connecting them and they set off for a day trip to Vegas and you know that whenever someone goes to Vegas, craziness will ensue.
This audio was very well done and Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorites. James Joseph is new to me, but he was fantastic.

Enjoyed getting to know the characters. Really enjoyed the narration. Always seem to have trouble resisting the ridiculous situations the characters get themselves into in Blakely's books.

Loved the Narration!

The duet style narration, performed by the always stellar Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph, who was fabulous here, really elevated the story. It was a cute take on the fake marriage trope with some good steamy scenes. Overall an ok story.

Loved this book. Very pleased to see Nate get his loving mate and HEA. Hunter was a fresh character in Lauren’s book, which was nice.

Hot as sin!!

I’m not a huge MM romance reader. Nothing wrong with MM. I just can’t imagine myself in the woman’s spot since there is no woman. So I don’t go there often. I have a few authors that I dabble in MM with. Lauren Blakely is one of them. I don’t need to imagine myself as the woman. I am a voyeur in this show and I don’t even mind! Hunter and Nate meet in the best of ways! I love pie being thrown in the face! It was all adorable and I knew that these two men were about to win me over and have me rooting for them, big time! Hunter may not know what he’s doing but he knows he wants Nate and he’s down to show it. Nate is a bit more protective. He’s recently gotten out of a bad relationship and isn’t ready for more.

I just love the way Lauren Blakely develops characters. I know a lot of people play games and aren’t mature in relationships… it’s why I’m still widowed and not even interested in the dating pool yet. Hunter and Nate are mature. They tell each other as it is. They end up really coming through for the other and I am here for it! The audiobook is just amazing. The narrators, Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph were OFF THE CHARTS! I seriously could not get enough of them as Nate and Hunter. They brought these men to life and I was swooning left and right over them!! I’m so happy I didn’t pass on this MM romance. If these two narrated all the MM romance I would probably convert!

A Top Notch Wake up Married Romance!

All of L. Blakely’s MM romances are excellent and this one is no different! It has the sweetest carnival meet cute, so strangers to one night stand that gets a chance at a second hook up in Vegas and the rest is history! Their chemistry is amazing. It’s witty, sexy, and sweet. It has learning to love after divorce, and being open and upfront about feelings in this one which is chef’s kiss. These two are soulmates! The audiobook narrators are amazing as always!

Truly Phenomenal

Don’t think, just get this book. Get the whole series actually. And after you do that just get all of Lauren Blakelys books. Lauren Blakely has this insane talent of creating stories that capture your heart and your mind. She transfixes you into the world she is creating and the characters who inhabit them. There are only so many words that one can say to express the joy, glee, giddiness…you feel in your heart and soul after finishing one of her stories. Seriously just do yourself the favor and get this series, Winner Takes All and enjoy every second of them so you can also experience the love and passion she creates. The narration is top notch, masters of their art, Teddy and Joseph are chefs kiss perfect. The emotional depth they bring to their characters while bringing the story to life is unparalleled. Seriously brilliant.

Excellent

The story made it very challenging to put the book down. I found myself deliberately stopping because I didn’t want it to end. The blend of humor and sincerity in the text for each character enhanced their perspectives. It was all further heightened by the narrators.

I chose this for the narrator

I love Teddy Hamilton, therefor I bought this audiobook. But it is the same mediocrity as all LB's novels. I liked the characters, although they could have more depth and development. The last two hours were a long wait for the ending. There was no conflict anymore and no secrets. I wondered what the arc was. As I said: nothing special.
Edit to ask: when do writers catch up with the fact it is impossible to apply for a wedding licence in Vegas when the couple is falling down drunk?

Nate and Hunter's story is a tale as old as time. Swoony Brit meats sarcastic American, they have an explosive first encounter then go their separate ways, only to be reunited again. Then they accidentally get married and rest is history. Or is it?

This book is very entertaining, it's spicy and fun with lost of twists and turns.

Loved the narration by Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph, these guys have some great chemistry and really bring the characters to life. (Also I have never been so inspired to try an Italian desert in my life - listen right to the end - you'll understand.)

I'm in love with these two what a brilliant book. Narration was superb all in all Fantastic.

The cutest and sexiest MM romance

I am already a devoted Lauren Blakely fan and she never disappoints with her casting of her audiobooks. So, I was more than a little out of my mind excited when she announced she would be casting James Joseph as a lead in one of her forthcoming books. Fast forward to me passing out on the floor in delight when I discovered it would not only be an MM story but with the one and only swoony guy himself Teddy Hamilton in DUET !!!!

And it is EVERYTHING I was praying it would be. James Joseph and Teddy Hamilton together are electric - you cannot fake that kind of chemistry and it makes for the most intoxicating listening experience. Teddy Hamilton needs no introduction really and he is on top form in this one playing Nate Chandler the pro football player who has been burned by his ex husband and now cautious about getting back out there. He has an instant connection with the young Brit TV Producer, Hunter Colburn who has recently discovered he is Bi and looking to explore everything that entails. James Joseph is brilliant at portraying Hunter's flirty cheeky side but at the same time that edge of vulnerability and his hang-ups that he might not be good enough.

The story is a wonderful combination of light sweet and laugh out loud funny, some really intense spicy scenes and some heartfelt moments too. Classic Lauren Blakely in other words. It does have quite the same intense epic, rip your heart out emotional angst as some of her other MM stories, like Hopelessly Bromantic duet, but this doesn't need it. Nate and Hunter are two people who find an instant connection neither was expecting and both care about each other and want to live life to the full for as long as this will last.

I like the whole drunk marriage in Vegas scene its beautifully performed and you can't help but be grinning insanely when listening to it because of how ridicuously funny and happy they are. The fallout out the whole pretend marriage ruse is expertly crafted so as not to be too unbelievable and at the end of the day it is a wonderfully sweet little story about two people finding each other and realising that actually they might be each other's forever.

I love it so much, I will be periodically relistening to this one over and over.

I’m a massive fan of Lauren’s MF books but I’m just finally dipping my ears into Lauren’s MM world. This one was super cute and smexy. Nate and Hunter have the hottest first date ever whilst battling their inner insecurities and still got on with it.

Is it really fake?

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - Unless it’s splashed all over social media that is. When the Hawks receiver Nate Chandler meets newly ‘out’ Brit, Hunter Colburn, marriage is the furthest thing from his mind. He’s still dealing with his spiteful ex’s digs at his ‘lavish lifestyle’, so he doesn’t need any more drama in his life. But one drunken night in Vegas changes both their lives, for the better, in my opinion. I think Hunter and Nate might just be my favourite LB couple, they’re so honest and open about what they want and where they want to be in their lives - no games. Obviously there’s a windy road to travel to get where they need to be, there’s a few little twists, a couple of roadblocks and a few misunderstandings, all of which endeared them to me more. A few cameos from other leading LB characters - they are after all, a tight bunch. Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph narrate wonderfully in duet, bringing the characters to life and their thoughts and feelings to the forefront in the best possible way. Super sexy, super sweet, and a whole lot of entertaining. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest review.

Another amazing story!

This book was amazing! I love Nate and Hunter so much, their chemistry is clear from the moment they meet and all throughout the story. They had so many great swoony moments together, and I was happy I was at home the whole time listening to the book because I had the biggest grin for so many moments! And then as a bonus we had some of the other guys from the team and other books pop in here and there, I loved it!

The audiobook is performed in duet style, which added even more to the story for me. Both Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph brought the guys to life so well! I’ve said it in other reviews for Lauren Blakely books and I’ll say it again, she always has the best cast for her audiobooks, making them even more enjoyable than the story alone already is!
