I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this series of Books 📚! They are among my most favorite books. I highly recommend the whole series. 🥰📚❤️

Great story of courage and forgiveness

I have loved all the books in the Cities of Refuge series. I loved Tirzah, a strong woman who chose to serve Yahweh even when it was dangerous and discouraged. Liyam was a heartbroken and vengeful man who learned the power of forgiveness throughout the story. Their story of spying together and rallying troops during the early days of the Judges was encouraging and brought the reality of the struggle to life.

Great conclusion to the series!

Fast-paced with characters you want to root for. Beautiful character arcs. Themes of forgiveness, family, and bravery.

I think I’ve listened to too many biblical fiction books by this author so they’re kind of blending together 🥲

The plot and how the author weaves the histories of the characters.

I enjoyed the theme of mercy or bitterness throughout this series. That the people struggled to forgive injustice just as we do today

Immersive Biblical Fiction

Captivating story and I loved that characters from each novel flow into the next. The author has a certain style and rhythm within her books that I find so enjoyable. I can listen for hours at a time!

Narration is wonderful as well, lending another layer of intrigue to the characters. My only qualm with the narrator is the altered pronunciation of names between books. I’m not sure why that is necessary. I highly recommend this series but would suggest that the listener start with the Out of Egypt series first to follow storyline chronologically. You will not be disappointed!
