Lost a star for excessive use of “hither and thither”

Derek Perkins is brilliant! I love his work and how he clearly delineated each characters voice and vocal mannerisms. The story was also quite enjoyable. It had some slow parts but all stories do. Biggest drawback for me was as noted in the title. It might work well in written form, but spoken word it just yanked me out of the moment every time. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. I greatly liked the religious depths that were looked at.

Vary sad but no regrets reading

Honestly one of the best series I've come across. Now off to fill the void with another series!

An amazing Conclusion to an epic tale. the way the story moves is delightful, fast paced, never boring, and what a tale... I have loved every book in the series and conclusions rarely are satisfying but Estes really nails this one.

Listened all 5 ebooks thru Audible. I thoroughly enjoyed this epic saga. Each character I enjoyed, although Therien's storyline was my favorite. And I loved the ending epilogues...tied everything up. Thank you for that. Derek Perkins, the narrator was wonderful.

Some authors rush through an ending to get the book published. I did not feel that way at all. Great ending. Great series. I love Derek Perkins. I'll listen to any book he reads.
