The author gives excellent life skills advise to teens and young adults. This is information schools and even parents fail to provide to young adults. The author explains these important skills in a easily understanding manner. Highly recommend this well written book!

Loved it!

This was an excellent book. Absolutely necessary for teenagers. The book points out everything teenagers must know to prepare for an independent life. I wish such books existed when I was younger, but I'm glad to be able to purchase this for my nephew now.

A Must Have For Every Teen!

I really enjoyed listening to this book; full of wisdom, sound advice, and encouragement. As a grandmother of two young teens, I see so many issues that they and their peers are experiencing. Life can be hard, confusing, and stressful, especially if these kids don't have boundaries and proper guidance. Every chapter is filled with practical ways our teens can learn any apply skills that will ensure greater confidence and success. The author addresses things like health, self care, relationships, boundaries, and social media. I will definitely make sure my grandkids read or listen to this valuable guide for developing "must-have" skills for becoming the best they can be. I highly recommend!

Solid advice for adolents

Gave this as a gift for a friend with a son who is 15, and trying to figure out how to navigate early adulthood. Along with solid strategies for coping with stress, peer pressure, and societal expectations, the book does a good job explaining the value of journaling, while providing useful prompts to follow and write. Would recommend for anyone with teens/young adults for guidance or wisdom at their current stage of of development.

Great for older teens and early 20’s

I loved this. Very manageable for our youth to have basic skills or reinforce what parents say but goes in one ear and out the other. The author cover a lot but in summary they mentioned home skills, health, relationships, and making good choices.

Life Skills for Teens and Young Adults is a fantastic step-by-step guide that demonstrates important life skills, such as communication, building, self-confidence, maximizing, motivation, taking care of mental health, taking care of physical health, and many other skills. I really thought the section about journaling for mental health and clarity is something that we can all add to our life.
This book serves as a guide to help young people get started on a certain path and follow through with that path. I really like the way that she adds informational sections at the end of each chapter about successful teens and their accomplishments. I think this book is great for teens, young adults, and older adults alike. I highly recommend this book. The narrator is also really easy to listen to.
