Resiliance

I needed this. Recently divorced and 18 months sober, also empty nested, I've been trying to find my strength again. I watch your podcast religiously (haha I am not religious), you two are so needed and I appreciate you both for your inspiration daily and this raw, amazing book. Thank you.

This book will only make you fall in love with these ladies more. It is raw and so intimate, you can't help but feel a kinship their stories. It is a must read for all who are truly honest with themselves, and acceping of others

Love this book!

Honestly, I’ve never read—or listened to—a book that hit me in the soul quite like this one. It’s like y’all crawled into my brain, took notes, and then wrote my emotional autobiography (with better grammar). You reminded me that we’re all messy humans just trying to survive the chaos—and that even when life feels like a dumpster fire, there’s still a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel (and hopefully not just another dumpster).

I laughed, I cried, I questioned my life choices, and then cried some more. Your stories were so relatable it felt like you were narrating chapters of my own journey. This book didn’t just speak to me—it shouted. Y’all have genuinely changed my life forever.

Real!

Loved the book. I totally related to Pumps and being indoctrinated in evangelical Christianity as a child. How they both struggled but overcome the shot show that was thrown at them. Both ladies are real and seem like just great humans. Great!

Honest and straightforward truth telling

I loved every second of this audio book! I’ve been listening to the podcast for some time now and when I heard they had the book out I at first thought that it would be like the podcast. But then I heard them being interviewed about it and decided to get it. I have even more respect and admiration for these two women after listening to this audiobook and hope they never stop letting us know what they’ve had it with.

Amazing read,

I love your doing the petty grievances to get through this sh*t show of a world. I’ve had it with finger pointing…it’s like grade school all over again…blame games, “well he/she/they did it”, “he/she/they started it”. Omfg it’s like you sit there and wish a cattle prod would work through the net and hopefully shock some sense, maturity, culture, and courtesy/manners. Keep on sending your message it’s beautiful even when it’s sarcastic and tough love words.
