We could've had a better world

I'll be honest -- this is a tough listen. Circumstances did Harris dirty at every turn, and it's the country that suffers as a result. It's heartbreaking to imagine what might have been -- what should have been, if we weren't so stubbornly mired in second and racism. Harris deserved better, and so did the country. This behind the scenes window into her short, hopeful campaign is, I suppose, a necessary companion to the history others will write about it. That doesn't make it any easier to listen to, though, as good as it is.

An honest and insightful recollection

I just knew Kamala Harris was going to be our first female President. I knew it in my soul. She has the right resume. She is a proven fighter. She is a happy and joyful woman who has intentionally built a wonderful life. We all know the unfortunate outcome and we’re all trying to piece together what comes next. Kamala Harris represents the best of these United States and I really enjoyed hearing from her what happened during those 107 days. We would all be wise to work with her to create our next iteration of government. Her story is truly inspiring.

Though I felt some of these things might've been happening, it's so heartbreaking to know some Dems purposefully made way for our current reality. I appreciate Kamala's honesty and everything she's done and tried to do for the American people. WE really messed this up and it's utterly heartbreaking!

Made me cry thinking about what could have been

Getting to hear Kamala in her own telling of how she experienced it is such a gift. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book as well as her first one. I’m still grieving her loss of the election.

Loved the book, the narration and the detailed accounting. Just wish the outcome would have been different.

The integrity of Kamala Harris

The difficult part was knowing the result of the election while reading a recounting of the effort made for 107 days. She not only gives the reader a daily recounting of the campaign but also her thoughts and assessments. I was usually riveted.
