honestly, the story is very predictable and I literally guessed the ending back in Chapter 3. Journey (the MC) was lame as a Protagonist and while the story doesn't make any attempt to hide her vileness, there's very little else to her character. The same is true for everyone except Ed. He still barely has any development but he at least doesn't feel like an NPC to play a role in a story. Nobody in this book feels like a real person and the ending is very disappointing and abrupt. The best parts are by far the shifting perspectives in certain chapters. If you don't mind the hollow characters, you'll enjoy this book. Also, be prepared for some gross scenes if you do.

Well, I liked the concept and plot, but the narration was bad. I do not care for the artificial narration at all, and that goes for other media too, nit just audiobooks. In the beginning of the book I wasn't sure I like the writing, but possibly it was the reading distracting me as by the end I thought it was pretty good.
There were some really graphic and nasty bits. I admittedly was surprised a bit as I didn't realize it was going to that type of story, but it went there.
I say give it a listen but I wish it could be recorded again with a decent narrator.

This may be unfair...

The AI narraration was really rough to listen to, hard to get into the story.
