Publisher's summary

A stranger is just someone you haven't been forced to spend Christmas with yet.

Baxter

As a 42-year-old single father, the last thing I expected before Christmas was for my daughter to sign me up for a community matchmaking event. The Christmas Buddies program becomes a challenge I can't wait to overcome when I realize the man that has been assigned as my buddy for the holiday season is none other than Paxton Montgomery. He's massive, grumpy, incredibly gorgeous (in a lumberjack kinda way), and also—weirdly enough—the only person in town who doesn't like me.

Can I change Paxton's tune by the end of the holiday season? Or am I destined to spend yet another Christmas craving companionship and someone to hold my head up before I drown in the stress of my broken bakery?

Paxton

I'm not a people person. I know this about myself, and I am at peace with it. The only exception I have is my son. He's the most important person in the entire world to me. So I had no choice but to go along with his scheme as he rigs the Christmas Buddy drawing so we can spend the holiday season with the girl he's had a crush on since junior high. The only catch: her father is a crucial part of the bargain.

Can I survive the holiday season with sunshine golden boy Baxter bombarding me with his jokes and his too-bright smiles? Or will I succumb to my dark desires and strangle the grin right off his too-pretty face?

Let Your Heart Be Light is a standalone slow-burn holiday MM romance with high heat, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. It features a relationship between two adorable single fathers as they navigate the holiday season. Together they're warm, young, and tooth-achingly sweet. If you like funny stories with too many dad jokes, Christmas magic, grumpy-sunshine, and lots of steam, then listen on!

Sweet Christmas story

Baxter is just the cutest and sweetest guy but there are things in his life not going well. Grumpy Paxton comes along and makes Baxter feel bad for which he has to apologize?? He does something nice for him and their friendship grows from there. Paxton had judged the baker him too quickly! Don’t miss out on what happens with these two and their children!

Family

This story had lots of acceptance and support and love. Two hunky men laughing, getting to know themselves, and of course family.

Christmas perfection 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Ugh, THIS BOOK. For starters, it’s the sweetest most cutest book ever. Everytime I think about these two I just want to cry tears of total joy. I love them. So much. Secondly, these narrators did such an excellent job I just want to scream. Can I just say, daddy Paxton. DADDY. PAXTON. I will never be the same. Both narrators just brought two of my favorite characters to life so perfectly.

Super cute but also heart felt.

The perfect Christmas mood. We all deal with emotions, but not all of us know how to process or cope in healthy ways. Baxter went through so much and until Paxton - he was just surviving.

This book was sweet and endearing but you also get some angst- not too much but enough that you connect to the true feelings.

Stunning narration!!

Wonderful story, fantastic narrators!

This was just the right amount of gooey sweetness I needed this Holiday Season! I loved the storyline and Becca & Nathan have my heart. The narrators did an impeccable job of bringing the characters to life off the pages. I really couldn’t imagine anyone else in those roles🖤
This will be a yearly listen. I loved it! ❤️💚

This was a very warm and sweet story! It is a perfect read for someone who likes funny stories with too many dad jokes, Christmas magic, grumpy-sunshine, and lots of steam! I do kind of wish we had gotten some of the story from the kids’ perspective though! I absolutely loved the mental health representation in this book and I also really enjoyed reading about how the father struggled with coming out to his son! This story is written well and the characters are very relatable. Paxton and Baxter are the perfect match for each other and they balance each other out in such an amazing way! Overall, this book is a low angst, heartwarming, sweet, charming, and fluffy holiday romance full of swoony moments, festive times, and plenty of steam!
