great story

this is one of my favorite books by mrs. Devereaux I normally read it at least once a year the storyline is amazing I absolutely love the time travel aspect and the twist and turns mixed in but in the end it is a very sweet love story and I love it, the downfall is I didn't like the narrator's voice felt like it didn't fit the character I would have like another person to read the male voices as well and then there was a constant echo that was in the background that you could hear almost like another voice talkng had to try to tune that out but it became very annoying.

Fun and entertaining time travel love story. Good reader and light reading! Perfect reading
for the
beach or traveling, chick lit!

Another great Deveraux story

I loved the many twists and turns of the plot in this story. Just who you thought it would be over there was more.
Took me a while to warm up to the narrator. It constantly sounded like someone else talking in the background too which was annoying.

CAGA-UK

This is the first time I have been compelled to write a review because I loved this audio book so much. It was funny, romantic and sad and it left me completely drained. I listened to it virtually non-stop because I had to know the ending. This is the first, but not the last, Jude Deveraux book iv'e listened to and I'm looking forward to listening to many more. I have eclectic taste in books, from Christine Feehan, Christina Dodd, Brenda Joyce, Megan Hart, Nora Roberts,Kerrelyn Sparks and Johanna Lindsey.

In my opinion, this book is well worth the credit.

I loved reading this book and I love.listening to it. it makes cleaning so much better!

A bit of a disappointment!

I am a big Jude Deveraux fan and I have to say this book was a total disappointment! The main character was so boring and repetitive and totally fake! Several times I wondered if this was really a Jude Deveraux book.

Love the book…TERRIBLE choice of narrator!

Legend is one of my favorite Jude Deveraux books, I’ve read it many times. I thought it would be a great option for an audible book. To listen while I’m driving, working, etc., I was wrong. I just can’t get past the narrator, her voice doesn’t fit the character or style. The worst in my opinion is the awkward cadence, style to her narrative. I’ve started and stopped this reading multiple times and just can’t get past it, regardless of the speed I set it to. So very disappointing!

Good story but missing many details

I was led to believe that this wasn't an abridged version of the book. After I listened to it I realised there was many details missing. It was a really good story but I got lost in the details when Kady was going back-and-forth in time. I read the book and the audio version is not complete.

A Captivating Story of Romance

I don't know how many times I have read this book so far. And each time the book has captured my heart just the same. I guess I'm an old fashioned person when it comes to classic love stories and passion. I fell in Love with Kady's character, Cole and Tareq Jordan again and again. Cudos to Jude Devereux, I think this is her best work so far.

Pure Fable - Fun Fairy Tale

The effort it took to manage the track of each delightful character clearly has my respect.
Having read the reviews written over a period of several years, I think we need more. This book represents exactly what I most enjoy from Jude Deveraux.
Refreshing in dialogue throughout all the characters are consistent, refreshing and strong ...
However if the reader cannot relax and enter into fantasy then I can understand this style may disappoint.
I will look forward to more fiction from this author.
With an endless time-frame and enthusiastic narrator what fun it was to take an imaginative journey of make-believe during a period of national stress.
