Story is getting better

It impresses me that this series is getting better and giving new surprises. I almost returned the first book, now I’m glad I stuck around.

outstanding characterization

love the chronological storyline and how the main characters continue to find, or experience, near-miraculous ways out of predicaments without it seeming to be silly. the narrator does an outstanding rendition of characters, with vocal inflections that draw the listener in. each book seems to make this storyline more interesting. worth moving on to the next one.

Totally the Bees Knees

Love this author, and the narrators skills are fire. This series has completely taken me to the stars.

Hero Is An Idiot

Why are most of the modern SciFi heroes whiners and most of the time idiots? "I'm not good enough to lead these people. I'm just going to get them killed."
"No, You must lead us."
"Okay but I'm The general in charge of 10,000 people so I get to be out front."

Friendship of the team

The team made up of total strangers from different species. They have come together for a common cause.

Fun, exciting and funny

I have loved all these books. The concept isn’t new, but it’s delivery is fantastic. The pacing is also great. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
