To Clare Cosi's surprise, this fall's hottest fashion trend is anything caffeinated - because designer Lottie Harmon, a loyal coffeehouse customer, has just created an ingenious collection of coffee-inspired fashion accessories. So naturally Lottie chooses the Village Blend as the perfect backdrop for fall Fashion Week insiders to view her new line of "Java Jewelry." When barista Tucker unwittingly serves a poisonous latte to a prominent figure on the fashion scene, Clare suspects that the real target may have been Lottie. Now she must protect her thriving business from negative publicity, Lottie from further danger, and Tucker from murder charges - even if it means jolting the fashion world with some shocking secrets.…

Would you try another book from Cleo Coyle and/or Rebecca Gibel?
I've been reading this series but this book as turned me off. Not sure I want to continue if the rest of them are like this. It's almost like she didn't have enough for the mystery so she filled it with fluff descriptions. I am so tired of the minutes and minutes of description and lack of the mystery.,Which character – as performed by Rebecca Gibel – was your favorite?
MadameIf this book were a movie would you go see it?
no...not enough content.Too much Description and not enough Content

The Village Blend coffee shop is hosting a party for Fashion Week near Bryant Park. All the rich, famous and beautiful people have come to mingle and drink expertly blended coffee. But when a cup of Clare Cosi's coffee is shared by two men and one drops dead and the other one is rushed to the hospital barely breathing, Clare's friend and favorite barista is arraigned for the murder. Once again Clare and her ex-husband and business partner go to work to prove his innocence. In this book, her rich , French mother-in-law is also enlisted by Clare because of her influence in this fashion world business set.
The fashion world and entrepreneurs of other businesses all become potential suspects making the mystery interesting right up until the final solution. Clare and her family also become more familiar and interesting in every book. This is definitely one of my favorite cozy mystery series!

I definitely recommend starting this series from the beginning, not because it's necessary to understanding the plot line, but because they're really good books and the narration is perfect. Also, as a coffee lover I actually found this book informative. The author(s) manage to give adequate descriptions of the various coffees, how they're made, and best consumed without making you feel like you're being hit over the head with information. And, I definitely recommend trying out some of the recipes given at the end of the book :)
The Continuation of an Exciting Series!

What did you love best about Latte Trouble?
I visit my favorite coffee house everyday. I enjoy trying to figure out "stories" about the people in the shop and this book expands on my imagination. What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I started with this book and wish I would have started with the first book in the series. I was surprised by the ending. But a little annoyed by plot points that were started, but not finished in the book. What about Rebecca Gibel’s performance did you like?
Ms. Gibel's performance was acceptable. I know others complained about her performance. I found it to be just fine. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. However, I did want to come back to the book and read when time allowed.Any additional comments?
As I mentioned above, there was a plot point involving the main character's daughter. It was not handled at all well and did not enhance the story at all. I found it to be a very serious situation, but the main character's attitude of "I hope her father talks to her about this", made me quite crazy. The main character was worried about everyone else when this should have become her main concern and should have been handled by both parents together. Very unhappy with this. It should have been edited out of the book or moved to the next book if it is going to be a concern in the next story. This is the reason I dropped my ratings to "3".Combining NY fashion week and coffee - nice!
