Then one of their fictions turns fatal when a shocking secret leads to a deadly end. Unless Clare can untangle this mystery, uncover the truth, and stop a desperate killer, she fears more of these weary writers may be marked for eternal rest.

Another Great Book in the Series

I was excited to preorder ‘No Roast for the Weary’ to be released on 4/1/25. I just finished listening to book 21 and am once again reminded how much I love Claire & the gang.
I found this series late and binge listened book 1 - book 20 without listening to other books. Grateful the series has continued.

Great story

This narrator always brings me into the story. Ms. Coyle writes with astounding clarity and detail. The movement of each character, the history intertwining with the present and who can you really trust?
There were some really great moments tucked into the story - clues hidden and yet hints available but also tucked away.
Not until the end are we given a step by step to who is the real murderer and how it all really happened. And even at the very end there are still more secrets revealed - questions answered.
Well done by both author and narrator. One of her best books yet.
I Cannot wait until the next Claire Cozi mystery - will Claire and Detective Quinn finally get married or will there be more twists and turns in their life?

well developed plot and characters with a few surprises.

As usual I was surprised at the ending!!!

There is nothing to dislike about the cozy house mysteries. I hope they continue!!! The others were good but nothing like Madam and Claire and Matt and Mike. Please don’t stop.

It was good to go back to the Village Blend with Claire and the gang! So thankful for the same narrator. Another good mystery. I love this whole series!
