great thoughts

Carey asks some questions that have been needing to be aaked for a very long time and doesn't come across as the expert with the answer of one size fits all.

Prophecy come true?

While this book was written in 2019 it seems almost prophetic of what is playing out in churches today. Carey gives very practical, thought provoking questions to discuss and ponder both individually and with your church teams. My husband and I really enjoyed listening to this book (and it's extra content only on the audio book). Great book!

Great for anyone in a church setting

This is a great read. It's bullet points and discussion questions make it easier to set goals and determine where your organization is.

So much better than I anticipated

Judging from the description of the book, I was hopeful that the content would be strong and applicable to the circumstances that I was applying it to. What I was not expecting to find was an excellent voice telling the story, audibly and from a content perspective. At some point early on it became obvious that much of the book was an audible version of the author's blog. I wasn't sure how I felt about that upon hearing it but as the book continued I appreciated the voice and the perspective from which each chapter and portion was written. I highly recommend listening to this if you were interested in changing your church I highly recommend listening to this if you are interested in changing your church or leadership style for the better

Difficult but good

Difficult at times to follow due to continueous sub-lists created throughout book. All good/valuable information, just it gets more difficult to listen to as opposed to having a physical book. Will probably not use audible for these types of books.

Also I found myself really feeling overwhelmed with the material. Kept thinking, "man our church so much to do". Will pass on info to leaders at my church. Carey - Thanks for this difficult but valuable information in your book.
