Walt has a mysterious box hidden in his safe. He has been told it contains a device that can be either a blessing or a curse to mankind depending on who possesses it.

Dr. Skinner comes to Kansas City and convinces Walt that he will use the device for altruistic endeavors. But others covet the device for more clandestine purposes.

It is the classic confrontation of good vs. evil.

The question is: Which one will possess the device in the end?

Walt finally finds out what that mysterious box is, and what it could be used for. When the opportunity comes up to pass the device on, Walt is faced with the moral dilemma... is this the person who would use it for good, or evil.

Robert Thornhill once again makes us really consider the ethics of our actions. There really is a gray area between right and wrong.

George Kuch delivered another fantastic performance. I look forward to to his next.

Each of the stories in this series stands on its own, but I really enjoy how they are all woven together. I’m so glad that I’ve chosen to listen to them in order.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

My husband and I listened to this audio book on a recent car trip. We found ourselves not wanting to arrive at our destination because we didn't want to stop listening. Robert Thornhill is a master at writing his Lady Justice series. This book continues the story of Walt Williams and his secret box. My husband had not listened to Lady Justice and the Mysterious Box but had no problems following the storyline. Once again George Kuch is the narrator and he delivers a wonderful story. Thank you Robert and George for a great entertainment.

Robert Thornhill continues to amaze me with his books. I love how he intertwines several stories into one. The predatory payday loans is especially interesting to me, as I know a victim to such outrageous lending practices. Walt and the mysterious box are centered in this book. I love how the author has written the characters to be realistic in their personalities, ages, and life events. The humor is such a plus and so well done. George Kuch does such an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. He has distinguishable voices for the numerous characters, so its easy to hear who is speaking. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this amazing author and narrator. This book has many thought provoking elements, and I cannot wait to hear Walt's next adventure with Lady Justice.

Another good story, that makes you think outside the box. I love Walt. I can't wait until the next story. my only complaint is the books are not ever long enough I can't get enough of Walt and the gang!

Another great story!

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I absolutely love this series! In this book, we FINALLY learn what was in the mysterious box Walt got in book #32. I'm not going to spoil it for you, you'll have to get this book to find out! As with all of the Lady Justice books, Robert Thornhill has delivered another great book. I honestly don't know how he keeps coming up with this stuff but hope that he never stops. This book had twists, turns, laughs, and moments where I was left wondering if this might be Walt's last caper.

Loved it!!
