Publisher's Summary

Walt has a mysterious box hidden in his safe. He has been told it contains a device that can be either a blessing or a curse to mankind depending on who possesses it.

Dr. Skinner comes to Kansas City and convinces Walt that he will use the device for altruistic endeavors. But others covet the device for more clandestine purposes.

It is the classic confrontation of good vs. evil.

The question is: Which one will possess the device in the end?

Good vs Evil

My husband and I listened to this audio book on a recent car trip. We found ourselves not wanting to arrive at our destination because we didn't want to stop listening. Robert Thornhill is a master at writing his Lady Justice series. This book continues the story of Walt Williams and his secret box. My husband had not listened to Lady Justice and the Mysterious Box but had no problems following the storyline. Once again George Kuch is the narrator and he delivers a wonderful story. Thank you Robert and George for a great entertainment.

We finally learn what the device is!

What I love the best about this set (besides the characters) is that there are plots lines which lace through many books. This book continues the story of the mysterious machine that Walt hid due to it almost getting him killed many times. We finally find out exactly what the machine is & how it’s used. It was so satisfying to learn the secret & understanding why it’s so coveted. As usual the story is captivating and includes a moral dilemma that really makes you think... this is a well written mystery, sprinkled with humor & perfectly narrated. Another home run!

Awesome Listen!!!

Robert Thornhill continues to amaze me with his books. I love how he intertwines several stories into one. The predatory payday loans is especially interesting to me, as I know a victim to such outrageous lending practices. Walt and the mysterious box are centered in this book. I love how the author has written the characters to be realistic in their personalities, ages, and life events. The humor is such a plus and so well done. George Kuch does such an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. He has distinguishable voices for the numerous characters, so its easy to hear who is speaking. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this amazing author and narrator. This book has many thought provoking elements, and I cannot wait to hear Walt's next adventure with Lady Justice.

Loved it!!

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I absolutely love this series! In this book, we FINALLY learn what was in the mysterious box Walt got in book #32. I'm not going to spoil it for you, you'll have to get this book to find out! As with all of the Lady Justice books, Robert Thornhill has delivered another great book. I honestly don't know how he keeps coming up with this stuff but hope that he never stops. This book had twists, turns, laughs, and moments where I was left wondering if this might be Walt's last caper.

I Can't Remember Anything??????

Lady Justice and Good vs Evil Kindle Edition
by Robert Thornhill

Walt Williams had stashed a mysterious box in his safe without telling anyone. After a period of time people wanted to hire him to find the contents of the box. Robert Thornhill incorporates current events along with fantastic fictional ideas. I absolutely love reading "The Lady Justice," books and anxiously await the next installment.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. George Kuch hits it out of the park once again!!!

Another winner!

social-issues, verbal-humor, situational-humor, law-enforcement, friendship, mystery

***** This item that governments, crime lords, and do gooders want to possess is a worse conundrum than the one faced by Pandora. In an earlier book Walt had experience with the thing, but now a credible professional with no sense of greed is in search of the thing. First Walt much decide how to deal with it, and then deal with the fallout of his decision. Along the way several pertinent social problems are exposed and the reader is invited to do some serious thinking. But of course there is always humor in the books!
Another excellent and stimulating tale! Of course I loved it!
George Kuch continues to be the voice of Walt Williams and the other characters.

Great Series

I absolutely love this series as they are thought provoking with humor. In this book Walt is hired by Dr. Skinner (a savant) and Jacob Watson to find the NESD (neuron encoding synapse disruptor) which is locked in Walt’s safe. He finally finds out what it is and used for after doing research and ends up giving to the Dr. to help people. I loved the ending with Dr. Skinner and the work with the homeless by his family and friends. My only complaint it was too short. I love all of the characters especially Walt and his extended family. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend if you enjoy thought provoking mysteries with humor. Keep them coming! I was given this free audiobook by author and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU!!!!

Return of THAT box.

Some time before, Walt Williams appeared to destroy a mysterious box which had brought the attention and death to agents from several countries including the Russians, Chinese, North Koreans and the U.S.A' s own Homeland Security. But unable to casually destroy something said to hold the potential for great good as well as great evil, and still not knowing what it was, Walt secretly hid it in his home safe instead. Now two different men are in Kansas City - and want to hire him to find it!

With his usual superb ability to mix humour and serious issues into a great very readable storyline, author Robert Thornhill finally reveals what it was In that box which had caused such furore. The excellent George Kuch again becomes the elderly PI, recounting the story and giving voice also to the numerous other characters. Like all of the Lady Justice books, Good versus Evil is completely stand alone, although the appreciation of Walt and his pals increases with every book read.

Good book, wonderful series and highly recommended.
