Hilarious! Awesome romcom and Dal is so dreamy!

On episode 5 and I’m obsessed with this story! Amazing characters, compelling story, funny (no corny jokes - refreshing and hilarious dialogue), and a really cool world to explore. I absolutely love Dal! He’s such a good romcom MMC - realistic, a believably grumpy side (without being overly so), smart, swoony - the whole package! I always struggle liking any of the love interests in romcoms and this character is perfectly done.

Cute

Interesting, storyline, with nice introduction to cultural experiences in Korea. Could deal with less K-pop in between the story.

Hilarious! Incredible! Moving! Swoony!

Listen, I’m not even a k-pop girlie but this is the best rom-com I’ve heard on Audible so far!!! The story is so engrossing I literally cannot stop listening! I’m currently re-playing episode 6 because it is THAT GOOD and the actors are EATING!!!! Dal?!? Swoon!!! Shayla?!? I’m obsessed with her!!!! When do we see Black women characters that get to be so unapologetically themselves???? Ugh!!!

Not to mention the music is so damn catchy, I think I need to start listening to some k-pop?!? I get to close my eyes and pretend I’m in Seoul?!?!?! Like, what?????

Why are you still reading this?? GO LISTEN!!!

I need more !!

I loved it. What a marvelous surprise. I was a bit doubtful the first episode as I was not keen on the sound mixing and such (I’m an audio nerd). But seriously it picked up quite well and I am hooked. I loved the characters and how the various relationships developed. As a kdrama addict I didn’t think this would do it for me but I was wrong. Plus the upside of listening to a kdrama is that you can get your chores done and you don’t feel guilty about spending five hours bingeing. Well worth it. May I have some more please. Koreaboo is an excellent listen

I wish I can listen to this again for the first time!

This not only exceeded my expectations, but fed my romcom/kdrama heart! I love the way Shenee delivers stories and I can tell how much hard work went into this masterpiece. Also… the actors?! The music?! How can I forget about this and listen to Koreaboo for the first time again :’)

This needs to be an Amazon show NOW

What an incredibly fun, cute and daydreamy whirlwind!! First off, the female lead Shayla played by Susan Wokoman was so good I forgot I was even listening to a show feeling as if she was my real life friend telling me about her new exciting life!
stories with people of color are so very much needed. even more show thick girlie representation.
perfectly written by Shenee Howard from start to finish.
I had so much fun with this. Amazon needs to spin this off into a Prime show like yesterday. 👍🏾 👌🏾 👏🏾🤗
