I am a huge Susan Wokoma fan so I was instantly engaged. I have never watched K-Dramas or listened to K-Pop, but this adorable series has my interest piqued in both! This was such a lovely way to spend a day! I found myself giggling like a teenager listening to this story.

A rom com with a Black woman and Asian man is so unique in fiction. I know there is a genre dedicated to BWAM romance, but to have a fully produced radio-play takes it to a whole new level. Wow this would be an amazing series! Hint hint Amazon!

I love that they addressed what it is like to be a black foreigner in South Korea! Super cute story too!

Fun K-drama-ish romp with a BWAM twist. Tropes, misunderstandings, tragedy, secrets, and silliness. Very cute! I enjoyed it immensely.

I love romance, and you can’t go wrong with a great Friends-to-Lovers story. Pros: The story was funny, witty & charming! Con: there are only 10 episodes.

Surprising Gem!
