I am a big fan of “Nordic Noir”. This was one of the best. You will be left wondering until the end.

Ridiculous!

Don’t waste your time. Absurd complicated plot that’s wholly unsatisfying in the end. Unsympathetic characters and crazy storyline.

Wonderful narration but...

I found it hard to feel emotionally invested in the terrors faced by people who sell arms for profit. Nonetheless the story is well written,. engaging and full of twists.

A must scandi thriller..

Really enjoyed this, even though some parts were slooow, and didn't realize was book 4 in a series! But it did not seem to matter, will seek out Book 1!

Started out pretty good

By midway the wheels started falling off for me. The trust issues became ridiculous and the Rambo stuff became too much. If the main villains identity wasn’t so obvious, so early I would have been more keen on finishing.

Good book but not without issues.

This is a good book but did come with some issues. They're recording never failed to skip at the beginning of every chapter. The story is very compelling but clunky, but this might have been the translation. Simon Vance is excellent as always. Overall it's a good read but I think I would have enjoyed it better as a reed, rather than a listen.

Very disappointing..

I am a longtime Nordic Noir fan, but this book was extremely disappointing. The story line is twisted and difficult to follow,
I could not manage to follow it for more than the first few chapters. I had to return it.
