Fired from her job and exhausted from her miserable commute, the last thing Deana Jones needs when she gets home is to find an alien in her living room. But how else to explain the man who claims he is from beyond the stars? He says his name is Lorgin and that she is part of his celestial destiny. Deana thinks his reasoning is ridiculous, and she knows he's making an error of cosmic proportions. But his touch is electric, and Deana starts to wonder if maybe their passion isn't written in the stars....

This is a fresh, funny and cute story. Deanna is a sweet but slightly naive person . Good characters, adventure, romance and sex.

Great Story!

If this book was a movie, it would be a B movie. There were holes in the plot that stretched believability, even for sci-fi fantasy. The heroine seems amazingly obtuse at times. She ignores the obvious. The hero isn't a great communicator, but that's nothing new in romance novels of any kind. The villain isn't developed at all, which disappoints me since a good villain can make or break a book, and if I don't despise him or her, their eventual defeat can seem anticlimactic. Having said all that, like any B movie, if you can suspend belief, force yourself not to think too hard and just go along with the flow, it can make for a reasonably enjoyable way to pass the time. The book isn't bogged down by sex, which is a plus. The sex scenes are explicit (so if that offends, steer clear) and they are reasonably well done. The narrator wasn't spectacular, but she did a fairly good job. I wasn't terribly disappointed, but I don't know if I will bother with the other books if they come out on audio. Perhaps if I can get them on sale.....

A Bit Sloppy, but not Hopelessly Bad

What did you love best about Knight of a Trillion Stars?

This book is filled with humor, adventure and mysticism. I loved it when I first read it back in maybe 2001 or so but listening to it really had me laughing out loud (which I also did when i read it all those years ago).

What was one of the most memorable moments of Knight of a Trillion Stars?

Most memorable moment was the death of the microwave! So many others but just to witness a handsome man in full battle stance to take down a microwave....I think I would have peed myself laughing had I been the main character.

Which scene was your favorite?

Every thing about this story is my favorite scene!

Any additional comments?

Dara Joy really has a magnificent way of captivating her audience but the narrator Rebeeca Cook really brought the book to life using different voices for different characters. Between the two parties...this book came to life!

I still Love this book

I decided to try this book although the cover discouraged me. Much to my surprise I loved it. Has it got some dorky science fiction names, yes, but if you can look past a little dorkiness then it is a wonderful find! The sex scenes are great and the story lots of fun. Overall I really enjoyed it!

Don't judge it by the cover!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Love scenes could have been better. The plot was ok but the beginning of the story was very strange and so unrealistic that you just had to laugh. I really can not imagine anyone putting themselves in that predicament. The author has a sense of humor but the plot was not believable in the beginning.

Would you recommend Knight of a Trillion Stars to your friends? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book mainly because the author had a sense of humor and she kept you laughing when you think that a book like this should not. The comedy saved this for me.

Have you listened to any of Rebecca Cook’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first Rebecca Cook book but I have listened to more sense then and I like her performance a lot. I loved the fact that she did not take away from the book but she actually enhanced the book by far.

Do you think Knight of a Trillion Stars needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

This book has a follow up book with Rejar and I absolutely love it.

Any additional comments?

Very funny!! Narrator enhances book. Nice flow.

It was ok
