I started with book 2

It was a fun listen I was just missing some info as the other books are not on here but I enjoyed it well enough that when they are I will give them a try as well.

Good Story

This is the first book I have read in this series and I feel that I was able to understand everything not having read book 1 - That being said, it was a decent enough story that I am intrigued enough to go back and read book 1 now. I enjoyed the easy pacing and descriptive writing. The narrator did a good job bringing the story and characters to life. I look forward to more from this author

Good book

I found this audiobook to be pretty good It has a lot of action and drama. The narrator does a good job reading this book.

Blown away

I recieved this as an audiobook free and my review is voluntary. When i first got this book i didnt realize it was part of step into magic and once i did i was hooked. I loved the first book so having the second one was just amazing. I love that its from sian and we get to dive more into his character.

Be careful who you kiss...

I enjoyed the story and the world Day created, however I had trouble with the narrato. The way she read the characters parts and the inflection and cadence of her voice was distracting. Because she did not alternate her voice to match the different characters, it was hard to determine when the pov changed. This created a disconnect for me. The characters were very well described and I think reading this book may give you a better experience.

Fun and easy

This second book was easy to follow and fun to listen too. Would definitely recommend!

The Kiss of Kissing Magic

I was given a free promo code via Story Origin. I am voluntarily reviewing. Though I am yet to fully comprehend the story, I enjoyed listening to Kissing Magi. It starts with kissing a stature in a garden. Then, we seem to be taken through portals and dimensions with teleporting, love, and action.

To kiss or not to kiss

I requested this audio because of my granddaughters visit. We all enjoyed this lighthearted story. Karina the MC has several choices to make, to go home or not, to trust or not, and to love or not. Hard choices in life. All is told in a kiss.

Interesting listen

This book picks up a year and a half or so after the the first book. Karina is now 16. Karina is living a mundane life, the days pass her by and she finds herself missing Whyland. Lucky for Karina, her friends from another world come and take her away on another adventure to save Sia. We also get too see some of our favorites, Darian and Cayla.
The plot at times can be a bit convoluted. It goes back and forth with two different plots but towards the end they mesh well. I enjoyed Sia the most. His character is interesting. He has this bad boy complex but deep inside he wants to be loved. Like it’s easy to see how he truly is but yet he is able to manipulate other people around him. There is certainly deceit, romance, angst, and betrayal in this book.
I listened to the audiobook, it was narrated by Winona Owen. I very much enjoyed her narrating the story. She was able to use different tones to portray the characters and it was easy to differentiate between them. Looking forward to listening to the next installment.

Not for me

I’m not sure if it was the narration or that I started with book 2, maybe a little of both, but, I just couldn’t finish it. I received this book at my request and voluntarily reviewed.
