Cruel. Heartless. Quarantined. The ruthless boys of Everlake Prep never saw lockdown coming. But the virus isn’t their number one enemy. I am.

And as if being confined to a boarding school for the elite wasn’t bad enough, now I’m stuck in isolation with the boys who hate me most too.

Saint, Kyan, and Blake. The Night Keepers. Or so they call themselves. They’ve embodied the Native American legend which lives in this valley, taking on the role of the monsters who lurk in the forest. And though they act like beasts, they may also be the most tempting creatures I’ve ever seen.

With the virus escalating and my dad’s name splashed through the news, my entire world is falling apart. What he did has cast a dark shadow over me. And the Night Keepers want to make me pay for his crimes.

Then things went from bad to worse when I touched the sacred rock. A rock which supposedly holds a curse to bind me as the Night Keepers’ slave. And as crazy as it sounds, I decided to play along. Because there are things about me they don’t know. Things my dad has hidden from me for years. All I can be sure of is that I have to find a way to escape this school. But until then, those savage boys are making my life a living hell.

As the virus sweeps through the country and the world twists into something ugly and unknown, the kings of this school become true monarchs. Even the teachers bow to them now. And I’m kinda glad about that ‘stay six feet away from one another’ rule, because without it, I know they’d rip me apart.

At least there’s a silver lining. I’m cosying up to Coach Monroe. My hot as hell, brooding P.E. teacher who has a vendetta of his own against the Night Keepers. And with his help, I may succeed at doing more than escaping the clutches of these heartless fiends. I might even destroy them along the way.

My father taught me how to be strong. How to prepare for the end of the world. So this isn’t going to be the end of my world, mark my words. But if I’m able to use my mind and body to bring these assholes to their knees, it might just be the end of theirs.

This is a high school bully reverse harem series which means the main character will end up with multiple love interests. It may have triggers for some as it has off the charts angst, dark love-hate themes, scenes of intense bullying, sexual scenes, and some violence (not aimed towards the main character) and is not for the faint of heart. Prepare to enrol at Everlake Prep. Bring your hand sanitiser, face masks and toilet paper to barter with, but don’t expect to hold onto them for long."

I love all of the twisted sisters books and listening to them on audible is my absolute favorite! I have read and listened to this whole series and it’s just amazing!

It’s dark, it’s steamy and it’s a bully RH romance with just enough violence!

One of my favorites

What did I just read? I honestly don't even know where to start. The Night Keepers (Saint, Blake & Kyan), Monroe or Tatum?
Let's start with meeting the Characters:
The Night Keepers - Saint, leader of the group with OCD to beat out any case I've ever seen. Like it's not just things being a certain way, everything is bleached and cleaned as well. Blake, Golden Boy, who wants to be in charge and always needs to win. Kyan, wounded soul, but oh so wonderful.
Monroe, teacher, knight and shining armor, and possibly my favorite. This is still a toss-up with Kyan.
Tatum is the girl they all love to hate, but she won't be broken, no matter how hard they try.

Recently, I've read a lot of Bully Romances, and I've enjoyed them, but this one just hit my top five. I soaked up these pages so quickly that my head is still spinning, and I've got a book hangover like no other. Being that this is my first book by both Peckham and Valenti, I can't wait to read more. You will not love The Night Keepers. You will probably hate them with everything in you, but if you let this story take you where it took me, which is right into Tatum's place, then maybe you will find something to hold on to for the other books. Their story isn't finished, so do yourself a favor and don't stop. This was the hardest but the best story. I can't stop saying enough about it. It's that great of a read. Grab it today, and trust me, you won't regret it.

🖤 Why Choose Romance
🖤 Dark Romance
🖤 High School Bully Romance
🖤 Student x Teacher Romance
🖤 Enemies to Lovers

"We're monsters of a particular kind. And we feast on things that others don't understand.

"Some people will never break. But everyone bends."

These twisted sisters sure know how to write a true bully romance! She can make you hate a character to much you wanna scream and cuss! Well i did scream and cuss. At the same time you fall in love with the others as well. Definitely a must read for me. Bring on the second book!

Man o man!!

Man, these women can write a school yarn like no one else. I’ve enjoyed all of their books, whether they are set in real school or dragon schools or the schools or hard knocks.

If you are a new reader—you might want to check out “Dark Fae” first—really rich world building, hilarious, and yes yes eventually reverse harem spice. I assume this series will follow suit in that this book sets up the broken souls and gradually turns the tides.

Be prepared to suspend disbelief for this one. It’s full of jerks and bullies who do not treat anyone lovingly; lots of people who feel out of control usually need to control something/someone (not the healthiest relationships yo!). But I’m here for it.

The toilet paper rationing (riots) might not mean much to audiences in 20 years, but reading this in 2023 made me chuckle.

The bullying is heavy in this story but I promise it will be worth it as the story goes on.

Tatum is forced by her father to go to finish her senior year at Everlake Preparatory. Usually she follows her dad around to wherever his PHD in virology is needed. However, with the Hades Virus becoming a bigger issue, Tatum needs the stability of Everlake.

The school is run by Saint, Kyan and Blake, the Night Keeps, three individuals who are supposedly the protectors of Everlake, at least according to a Native American legend they are. One of the biggest rules is to never touch the sacred stone, if you do your soul belongs to the Night Keepers. As things for Tatum go from bad to worse, she touches the stone and becomes the slave of the Night Keepers. At least she has an ally in Monroe, the very sexy P.E. Teacher. But the Hades Virus is getting worse out there and those within the secluded Everlake Prep might not be as safe as they believe.

This book is dark and oh so amazing! There is so much angst, hatred, lust and betrayal. It is an absolute must read! And can I say that the narrators do an amazing job with this book!
