Everyone in a Leadership Role Should Get This

This an amazing audiobook and I wish that every leader in my profession would listen to it and take the advice given.

In our current state of high employee turnover, this book is very timely and the content is on point. Today's workers are prioritizing work life balance and happy working environments. Leadership can easily chase employees away with their attitudes and expectations.

Are you tired of a workforce that is "quiet quitting"? Then listen to this audiobook carefully and heed the advice given. Your workforce will be happy, loyal and more productive. That's how you win as a leader!

Leading through compassion/positive reinforcement

There clearly is a paradigm shift going on in management and leadership training, and its oriented around compassionate/kind leadership practice. This audiobook breaks down both the logic, and effectiveness of this strategy in a new management paradigm, providing evidence for the positive impact on productivity as a result.

The audiobook is organized in a way that makes it easy to follow along with, and the narrator was engaging and easy to understand. Excellent resource.

Love it

Leading with fear never works long term, and this book is a wonderful reminder that kindness is something leaders need. Leading kindly is much better for everyone involved, and it is a great way of showing your employees that you do recognize them as humans. Leading with kindness should be the norm, not the exception. And I love that the author gave a dual perspective on this, and the practical tips are invaluable.

Short and Impactful!

This is an excellent guide to embracing kindness in leadership, *but* without the compromises and pitfalls of typical "niceness" that erode leadership results. By emphasizing the art of leading with kindness, it offers invaluable insights into improving employee well-being, team productivity, and employee retention. Especially in today's environment (which is volatile and exceedingly difficult to navigate), this type of thinking is much needed. Thank you Ruby for your work!

Kindness Works

Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, In the book Kindness Mindset in Leadership Ruby Taylor discusses why kindness matters. This book resonates with me. My Elders taught me that you can get more flies with honey than you can with vinegar so be kind and compassionate. As a leader, my staff is more productive because I sincerely care about what was going on in their personal lives as well as their work lives. I am so happy that someone has finally taught the practice in leadership training because it has not been a popular concept at all. Kudos to the author for an excellent book!

The importance of kindness in leadership is emphasized in this book, along with how it works to produce good results.
