Another Rachel Knight story with all the twists and turns. A good read. a few sad parts

Keep them coming

I have really come to like Marcia Clark's series featuring Rachel Knight. I somehow think the character is based (loosely) on herself, and so I have to say - Marcia is a cool chick. That said, her books tend to go just a tad too long, but the narration from January LaVoy nails it every time. NEVER let anyone else do this series narration!

Brilliant Writing and Narration

I read and then listened to this novel straight thru. Couldn't put it down?

Well written and intriguing

I thought this book was excellent. Great characters, intriguing plot development and a satisfying ending. I will definitely read another Marcia Clark novel.

A little Hollywood and a little OJ

This was, by far, the best book in the series. Finally, Marcia Clark takes you from the crime to the courtroom in a case that reminds you a little of the OJ trial - big Hollywood defendant, kills a woman and a man by cutting their throats, and the DNA evidence falls apart due to problems with the LAPD's crime lab - sound familiar? But this story has a much different ending and justice is finally served. I also loved the introduction of new prosecutor Declan and hope he will be back in the next book.

loving this series

I admit I started this series because I love the reader, January lavoy but this series is great and the stories are a really great listen!

Loved this storyline!

I really enjoyed this book and all the twist and turns it had. With each chapter I felt like I was right there in the story. I couldn't stop listening to it. I recommend this book.
