Another delectable delight from our Susi Hawke! I really love her sassy omegas and protective alphas. They are like crack that is so addicting!

Dearil is a bad-ass omega assassin who has a questionable taste in wardrobe and a head full of firey ginger hair. As an omega and a paid-killer, he has to be tougher and stronger than others. When he met his true mate in a priest Alpha, it was totally unexpected. One atheist omega and one Angelica priest Alpha, what will their future behold?

Sassy, funny, quick-witted and charming! Just like any other Susi Hawke books. This was really fun and full of thrill. And I loved the instant attraction between Dearil and Nathanial. Drew Becca also did a great job with his narration. I really enjoyed it.

Save the Omegas

This is a fun, sweet action packed story with true mates and a good cause! Assassin families rally to save Omegas being sold into forced marriages. It’s a light-hearted story filled with family and love. I like this narrator much better than the previous one, however the narration of the next two books in the series is by far my favorite.

Short and Sweet

Not your normal assassins, this family of assassins likes to help and protect the good guys. I enjoyed Dearil's fun personality and to find his mate, Nathanial, is the exact opposite of an assassins' brought a great development to the story. The family dynamic is something I love throughout this series.

So much fun!

I cannot say how many times I laughed out loud in the book and this series. These guys manage to get involved in crazy hijinks and will draw you in from word one. I love these books so hard!!

Dearil and Nathaniel

I laughed out loud and enjoyed the lively banter in this terrific addition to the Assassin's Claws series. While you can read this as a stand-alone, I would highly recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it. Dearil is sassy and full of snark but he also impressed me; for an assassin, he's highly moral. He believes that God and the fates are laughing by giving his atheist soul a newly retired priest as a true-mate. Nathaniel may be devout in his faith but made me smirk at his belief that his parents' forgiveness would have to come from God because it would never come from him after they sold his brother into a contract marriage. There's a good bit of action but it's really the interactions between the characters that hold the spotlight.
Highly recommended author

Audiobook: I had a bit of trouble personally with the narrator at the beginning of the book as a few of the characters sounded alike to me. Once I got further into the story it was okay.
