Love Locke and Key

This new series has is an easy transition from Zero Hour Series! You did it again Aimee Nicole Walker! The mystery is never boring and I love the balance between humor and romance!

Never a dull moment

I loved the book, but it really came to life with the narration by Tristan James. Bravo.

SO GOOD!!!

Aimee Nicole Walker strikes again. I absolutely every minute of this book and hope there are many more to come.

Disappointed

Really, really wanted to love this, but it was slow and plodding. For once, I wanted less sex, more plot. Tristan James was great as always.

📖 Story comment: Good pace and interesting story.
I'm probably bias, it took me a while to warm up to these characters in the Ground Zero series, but now I'm a fan. There's probably a little too much "se*y time", in this one for me (I'm at an age where I prefer more story), but the characters are being given the opportunity to grow both individually and as a couple and I'm enjoying the direction the series is taking - bring on more chaos!

🎧 Narrator comment: Tristan James can be a narrator you either enjoy or don't. Personally I love him, I go through phases where he's just what I need in a narrator. I find his tones soothing, he has good timing and inflections and he brings these characters to life. I enjoyed his performance of this title and will happily listen to it again.

Loving this series.

These two were a good pair to listen to. Listening to Tristan reading this book was so goood.

Felt like I arrived in the middle

Although this book was advertised as the 1st of a series, I felt there were many characters, especially the MCs who were established prior. It may be this is the case, and if so audible and the publisher need to do a better job with their descriptions

More romance than mystery

I enjoyed the portion of this book that actually dealt with the mystery, but that was over shadowed by the sexual content. I also felt the narrative was stiff.

Couldn’t get past the first hour

Too confusing and didn’t get into action soon enough. Too much time spent on character development
