Cried and cried

What a beautiful story. I loved the WWII history and the reminder of how Jesus will never fail us. I sobbed at the end, was such a good read.

Love historical fiction and love this book as an intertwines war faith family commitment etc

Bits and pieces of history and heartfelt narration

I recently met relatives of one of the last surviving members of the USS Arizona. Keeping this history alive for young adults to remember what took place fills one with gratitude. I realize this is fiction but Karen did an absolute wonderful job digging into history.
