Jon Dough Put the Hood in Robinhood
No he does not steal from the rich and give to the poor. However, he does help the helpless when family or friends are in need. Jon and his crew are an urban version of Seal Team 6. They deliver the streets version of justice when the system is of no help.
These stories are short, to the point, light entertainment. And don’t confuse Dough with a role model for kids or young adults. As matter of fact you should probably be 25 or older to read this.
Jon is a crook, drug dealer, mid-level city crime boss with turf and a crew and drug house, the deal. So he’s not going to win any hero citations. What evens it out and keeps you rooting for him is low-level, inhumane scum he’s after. Sure he’s a crime boss, but he does not abide sex-slavery, street shootings that endanger bystanders and children, or anyone who supports the above.
So given the alternatives, your willing to give your judgment genes an hour or two off to enjoy an entertaining tale.
And I must say the narrator is top notch. Not many I have listened to can pull off the US inner city speech convincingly and still be understood. But this guys got it down. Hope to hear more from him!

Loved The stories, just too short!
I need more information on Jon...darn good guy. But I need more! You won't be disappointed reading this one. loved the narrator! it's my first time hearing him.

Perfectly Paced, so very easy to listen to anytime
These two stories are great together. All Gas was an hour and 15 minutes, so I was able to listen to the entire book in one sitting, which was great. It really delved into the personality and character of Jon Dough, introducing me to his seedy world, while at the same time engraining his sense of integrity in the flow of the story. The Forgotten, which is just a tad longer, was just as engaging, or even more so, given the even "darker" subject matter. I can't really write much without giving away the plot or the great twist near the end, but I highly recommend this story duo to anyone who can stomach a little blood and guts.
