Great book!

This was a great book and very poignant at the end, I will read his other books now. Great author.

Story line kept me awake for the entire book. Good job by the reader and author both.

I enjoyed this story a lot. The narrator was excellent too. Believable story, told well.

Runs out of gas before it's over

I enjoyed about 75% of this thriller that begins with a man shooting strangers in a mall. Unfortunately, I somehow lost interest in the story and the characters before the book ended. There were a lot of characters, but none were sufficiently developed for me to care what happened to them. I found the ending especially weak.

Slow to start, but it gets real, real good.

This was a great story. It was a little bit slow in the start, but once it got going, it was a thrill.

Grabs you from the beginning. Very good! First time exposure to this author. I look forward to any of his other books. Highly recommend!

Very good story. I couldn’t put it down. Finished in 3days. Would recommend good to listen too.

Disappointed

I bought this book based on positive reviews. At best it is average. Not great and not terrible. Mostly, by the time I was 80% into it I realized that I didn't care at all about the way the book ended. Although the author did develop the characters, I didn't care about any of them. The story was not interesting. Sometimes a narrator can really punch up a story, but not this time.

Barely a 4. Easy to listen to, some interesting quirks, but nothing really new or different here. A solid crime novel.

Lots of characters

Listening to this in audible was challenging for me as there were many characters. Too many to keep track of in my head, but I pushed thru and finished it and enjoyed it.
