Finally getting Jake and Conner's story

I've been waiting for this story and wasn't disappointed. We get little bits of their history throughout the prior stories so I'm so glad this book is out. Jake is still over-protective and Conner is still strong and independent but they finally manage to work out their issues.

I waited to listen to this instead of reading it and I wasn't disappointed. John Solo does such a great job bringing the characters to life.

Been waiting on this book for a long time and I'm so happy to see how everything turned out! This book was definitely a feel good book despite then coming back from a separation!

It Has Always Been Jake and Connor

Jake and Connor is the third book in the Second Chances series and follows the rekindling romance between Jake and Connor. These two young men have been growing up before our eyes since the Oceanport Omega series. To see them as young men in love and rebuilding their romantic relationship is lovely and heartwarming. I adored this quiet and sweet romance between two of my favorite characters.

Perfect Listen

I read this story last year. I listened to it last night and fell in love with Jake and Conner once again. It is the story of two boys who meet as children, date as teenagers, separate over a misunderstanding and reunite. The story is focused on them unraveling the miscommunication between them. There are cute babies, alphas and omegas and some sweet loving. It was great to see two characters that have grown up over the series get their happily ever after.

Delightful CAKE

If you’ve read the Oceansport series before this, you have met both Jake and Connor and read about their childhood stories here and there in the series. Jake is from a wealthy family but you wouldn’t know it from how he acts and lives. He’s fun-loving, down to earth, caring, and helpful. Connor is serious, introverted, and caring but with a core of fire and steel and his focus has always been on Omega rights and helping people esp. omegas.

They’ve been best friends since childhood but we know from earlier books that something happened between them and they have broken up. This is the story of how they find their second chance with each other and discover that there’s so much more to their relationship than they thought.

John Solo’s narration is as always delightful. I love how he imbued the characters with live and unique voices. The story becomes more vivid because he’s narrating it. I love the story and the excellent narration just make this a wonderful addition to my library.

If you are in for a very sweet and romantic story that’s filled with friendship and love, this one perfectly fits the bill. And Connor + Jake is perfectly well-baked CAKE that’s a delight for both heart and ear.

Wonderful Job

I loved this as a story but hearing it come to life brought it to a new level. This is one of my favorite narrators.

Sweet and low-angst

This is a sweet, low-angst story about an Alpha and his Omega, lots of misunderstandings, some secrets and a second chance for an HEA. The story itself was entertaining and kept me going. And it was perfect for listening to while making dinner etc. But John Solo, the narrator, really did a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life, especially during some of the more emotional parts. I really enjoyed it.

loved this one from Ann-Katrin Byrde! I adore friends to lovers stories and this one was great! Charming characters and spicy romance, I really enjoyed it! John Solo did a great job narrating!

Jake and Conner!

This has been the story that I have been waiting for a while. I was so happy when I read this book when it came out. I just absolutely love Jake and Connor! So hearing the narration by John Solo just made this story even better. He does such a perfect job in just being this whole story to life. I couldn't help but fall in love even more then before. Love it!
